It's very unfortunate there aren't many endocrinologists in my immediate area. I visited this practice years ago myself and it was Terrible! I should've learned my lesson then!!! Now and more importantly it's my teenage daughter in need of help and once again Dr. Verma was extremely unhelpful! My daughter (college student) is experiencing serious hormonal issues (constant sweating, headaches, stomach pains, extreme fatigue, etc.) and can barely make it to class because of it. We had bloodwork and MRI done which clearly shows 3 areas for concern (all of which would cause my daughter's current symptoms according to what we found on the Mayo Clinic site), but Dr. Verma simply says "she doesn't know what the problem is and can only advise us based on what she knows." She then prescribes a medication to see if it helps and refers us to a Johns Hopkins endocrinologist after taking my copays and telling us nothing! The front desk staff isn't the best either! I'm soooo frustrated! Don't waste your time or money!

BE WARNED. I chose Dr. Verma after a bad experience with another endo and for location. Daughter was diagnosed with Graves Disease at only 18. The first visit with her was good. The office emailed the forms to fill out ahead of time, I found this to be a huge time saver and more Doctor's offices should do this. That being said, after a few weeks of experimenting to find the best dosage of medicine for her, she had some side effects to the medication. Daughter called Dr. Verma when this happened to see if she should be concerned or let it pass. Dr. Verma, after only 2 months of seeing my daughter, told her to stop calling her to ask questions and to find another Doctor if she doesn't like it. Needless to say, we did find another Doctor.
