At some point Dr Vega decided he didn't like me and I never knew why. I reveled my life story to him, he reveled nothing about himself to me... even though I asked him to.... that was the beginning of end of the trust in our relationship. He conveys a sense of entitlement through his silence. He was 30 minutes late for our second visit. He didn't recommend doing a second colonoscopy even while being evaluated for prostate cancer. He recommended doing a lipid panel blood test without fasting... He said, "The results won't be accurate but you can have it drawn now. " I realized then he never wanted to see me again. I did nothing to offend him in any way and I have no idea why he had a visceral dislike of me. He did not fulfill the mandate of the Hippocratic oath. I feel like what he did amounted to abuse. CAVEAT EMPTOR. Let the buyer beware.

Dressed like a janitor, mumbled throughout the entire appt. Recommended fish oil and lithium without even reviewing my labs. Wanted to do his own amino acids panel but gave no insight on the amino acids panel I had already had. Definitely will not return. I will note that he was willing to listen and answer questions and did not rush appt.

Dr. Vega has been our family doc for over 25 years. He listens and takes the time to explain in layman terms options, actions etc. If you would like an alternative approach to medicine (western/eastern/holistic) there is none better.

Wonderful, caring, knowledgeable doc. A regular MD, but with a strong background in naturopathy and Chinese medicine. He does a very thorough background intake & his approach is wholistic. Repeatly rated as one of Seattle's top doctors. It can take a bit to get an appointment but he is worth it.
