My husband recently saw Dr Taylor for suspected rheumatoid arthritis which was confirmed. He said he had the best experience with her, she explained everything thoroughly without talking down to him and he now has hope that he will soon be feeling better.

Dr. Taylor is very down-to-earth, a great listener and she asks questions in a sensitive and caring manner. She seems incredibly knowledgeable and she is able to explain things in plain language. I would highly recommend her!

I have been blessed to have Dr Taylor since around 2007. Omg my family even loves her! When we first met, I was ,in my words”very angry” Diagnosed with weird diseases out of no where. I had enlisted a doc out west who specialized in one of my dx..I was eager to follow with his suggestions and protocols. (Very happy I did). Dr Taylor raised an eyebrow or two BUT she listened to my feelings and supported my journey. She could have easily dropped me as a patient, like other docs have. But she didn’t. ❤️ She was able to put up with me,my frustrations and attitude. I am SO thankful to have her here in NS ,she goes well over and beyond what any of my other docs would do, even helping me with communication issues “those other docs” She has made up both intellectually and emphatically for the many less than “gifted” docs in my past. It’s unfortunate as I sometimes feel as though that must be a lot of extra pressure, that I’ve put on her. I wish so many things for our health care system, one of which is to reward the “excellent” docs that are clearly loved by the patients and hard working. She works her butt off within the hospital but also within the education system at Dal and on both the provincial and national level. Again, we rheumy patients are blessed. Sometimes like every other relationship, people don’t “click” but even then I cannot imagine why, how anyone would have a negative thing to say. It blows my mind. If she doesn’t know something to be 100%,she not only tells you but she makes sure to find the answer . I wish my other specialist had that same passion, ok I’d take even 1/4 the passion she has.. I have many friends over the past few years developing immune disorders ( not shocking). I’ve now started giving all of them that I love, her name the first chance I get. Many have asked for req’s to do so. They all have loved her as well. I kind of feel bad loading her up with more patients, I don’t tell her I do that. 😉. I hope to be blessed with years ahead of time with her. Kel

This doctor gave me my life back! Actually she gave me a better quality of life than I've ever had. I am finally pain free and healthy. She is so caring and patient. She is very intelligent and highly regarded across Canada. She is one of the rare doctors who admit when they may not have an answer right away but she doesn't stop until she finds one! Her communication with me has went above and beyond what any patient could expect. She is top notch!!! Beyond 5+ star rating.

My hero. Hands down. She gave me my LIFE BACK. I was quite broken and defeated after being dismissed and misdiagnosed by so many healthcare professionals. Dr Taylor listened and got to the bottom of my health issues and put me on a path to recovery. I’ve been a patient of Dr Taylor’s for about 3 years now and not a day goes by that I am not grateful for this amazing woman. Dr. Taylor saved my life, she is compassionate, empathetic and really does have her patients best interest at heart. Best Dr. I have ever had, either family doctor or specialist. She gave me back a quality of life and I will forever be grateful. Anyone who says anything negative about this Dr. needs their head examined. She is knowledgeable, caring, and fights for you and your disability, what more could you ask for. She is an asset to the medical profession, this province, and is a perfect example of what the medical professional should be.
