Dr lapidus is the most wicked, careless, inappropriate doctor I've EVER seen. I found him through Milwaukie Providence ER (in subutex and klonopin withdrawal from a prior physician dropping me due to missed apts and money) Dr lapidus shared that he had a private subutex practice. But made it very "hush hush" I really got a creepy feeling from him. But, I didn't care. I wanted out of WD. So we exchanged numbers, he told me I could text him whenever I want. And that's the best way to reach him (I have proof of the messages) my first few visits were great, he seemed to care about what's going on in my life, and not only addiction. BUT he has prescribed me wrong medications and dosing numerous times, where I would gab to call him, wait a day or two, then get the medication. My dad went with me to my last visit, and dr lapidus was very nice. He said "it's not a good idea to taper you right now since you're doing so bad. So take 2 Mgs this month while you can get on your feet, and we can go from there" sounded great. Went to get my medicine. He prescribed 1.5 a day and not NEARLY enough to get me to my next apt. I called him and he was bland about it. Once I started running low I got scared. I kept trying to call him, email him, my dad called, I even emailed dr hardy to get ahold of this "doctor" he was absolutely NOT RESPONDING. Because of HIM improperly prescribing I got discharged? Oh, and when my dad finally texted him with CC Oregon Board, guess who started frantically calling and texting?? Ha. He SCREAMED on the phone saying my father was threatening him. We are taking action. He abandoned me, thank God I found another to help me. It's sad because his wife is an addict, he should have more compassion. Dr lapidus doesn't care if you suffer. As long as he gets you off his back, and continues to be an educated drug dealer. (Met him at Starbucks with his wife and kids to pay him money. Creepy)
