The clinic was extremely busy, but staff were professional and polite, and made an effort to see all patients promptly. Dr. Joslin listened very well, was obviously very knowledgeable and made every effort to meet my medical needs.

I have been seeing Dr. Joslin since 1996. Always listens, and is able to address my concerns. He is a very caring doc.

Dr. Joslin was rude and condescending during a visit to the Clay Platte Family Medical Clinic where he was a sub phys on a last minute appt. I waited 90 minutes and he came in and immediately began snapping at me that he would not renew a scrip and I could wait for my regular doctor to do it. I was so stunned at his behavior I didn't know what to say. I had never seen this doctor before and couldn't understand why he was acting so angry and rude to me and then he made the remark, "Well, he has a medical license, I guess, and he can prescribe anything he wants, but I WON'T!" The nurse even looked upset at his behavior. I asked why no one had informed me of his position and why they had made me wait 90 mintutes and he said, "THEY don't know what I will and won't do or prescribe!" I felt belittled by his behavior, words and demeanor towards me. I will never accept another sub appointment with this physican - I will wait for my own doctor when I make appointments.

I've had good experiences and bad ones with Dr. Joslin. He/his staff have serious problems returning calls. I have waited for more than a week for test results. (Even my wife, who works in a hospital, marvels at the staff's failure to respond to concerns.) I had an allergic reaction to a medication prescribed by Dr. Joslin's office; his nurse returned the call 2 days later. I have called after hours as well (in July 2008) and received no call back. That's right--no call. I was scheduled for an MRI last December 2007. When I called the hospital the day before for directions to the clinic, I was told the machine was broken, and the hospital was waiting for a part. I called Dr. Joslin's office back twice about rescheduling with another hospital. Again, no return call. My wife called his office 8 separate times beginning the following Monday through Wednesday to reschedule the MRI procedure. When you meet with Dr. Joslin in person, he's very personable, and rather knowledgable.

Misread the meaning of blood tests. Obvious that he didn't know side effects of medications. Failed to make correct diagnosis yet projects confidence in his ability.

Finally a doctor who takes the time to address all of my concerns. I wish I would have found him years ago.
