Totally unprofessional when questioned about why he was 45 minutes late for the 8am appointment. The doctor showed up into the clinic at 8:44. Questioned the patient as to why that was any of his business, refused to treat the patient and threw the patient's medical chart down the hallway. Poor excuse for a professional. Based on some of the comments I see below, believe Dr Granger is bi-polar.

My visit with dr granger was not a pleasant experience. I found him very rude. Our conversation felt like an argument. I was seeking medical help and didn't feel he heard me. He seemed in a hurry. I would not recommend him. Very disappointed,

I took my now 5 month old son to Dr. Granger after a horrible experience at a pediatricians office. Dr. Granger was FANTASTIC. He was very thorough with my son. He listened to everything I wanted to talk about and supported me in my decisions.  I also called Dr. Granger's nurse regarding and ear infection I thought my son was getting. She told if we needed to bring him in that they'd do everything they can to squeeze him in. We took him in there that evening and we were able to see Dr. Ortiz right away.  I feel like my son is in excellent hands, and that's really important to me!

I am somewhat knowledgeable about my disorders. Dr. Granger just wanted to argue with me about my treatment and said he wouldn't even treat one of my serious disorders. He is also in charge of this practice. So if I go to another Dr. within the practice I get the same treatment!!

Dr. Granger is the best. Yes, he is part of a successful practice and it is quite busy. And he can come across as confused as to the purpose of the visit. However, I maintain that it is my responsibility as a patient to be an advocate for myself. Tell the nurse everything, then get ready to repeat it to the doc. Write it down. I have found that Dr. Granger really thinks about my ailments and looks for ways to make me feel better and live better. He is aggressive and is not afraid of attacking problems. My wife and I think the world of him and refer others to him all the time. Now, I cannot speak for the other docs in the practice, but Granger is awesome!

I have seen Dr. Granger 3 times and 2 other doctors at Clay Platte Family Medical Clinic, will never see him or the others again. I felt like I was being hearded through like a cow. The nurses, I later found out they are medical assistants, ordered expensive test that were charged to my insurance before the doctor ever saw me. I saw Dr. Granger twice, he acted like he wasn't sure why I was there, even with my chart with my problems down in front of him, and then he seemed like I was wasting his time and in the way of the cell call he answered while he was seeing me. During all my visits to their office I felt like they looked at me as a source of income and not a patient. I had to return several times before I was diagnosed correctly, according to one of the other doctors, who by the way repeated the same tests a week later, again before I was seen by the doctor. Their staff was rude, no one listened or cared about my problem or why I was there. Horrible experiences.

Dr. Granger is fantastic at digging until he finds the problem. More than once he has made excellent decisions about testing to reveal problems that might have otherwise gone untreated. He listens, he shares information, and he's a great doctor, for me anyway.

This man saved my life. I had a heart attack at his office and I could not have received better care. From the front desk to the Doc they are fabulous. Execellent and caring. Always time to explain things to the patient. I never have to wait and can always get an appoint when needed. I could not be more pleased with the care I receive there.
