Left shoulder was painful 7 years ago. Had a rotator cuff tear that needed to be addresses. Went to Dr. David Levy for treatment. After therapy & cortisone injections, it was determined that surgery had to be done. I was sent to Dr. Moro for care. 6 years ago surgery was performed and, to present day, I have been more than pleased with his work. It is now 2024, and my right shoulder is in that same state in today’s world. I have requested his services to perform the same orthopaedic procedure due to my past history with him. I highly recommend Dr. Moro for anyone experiencing the same issues.

2nd rotator cuff surgery. He is simply the best MD I have seen in 60 yrs of living.
I cannot think of one shortcoming he has. Professional, knowledgeable, and an incredible bed side manner. I don't want to see him again , but I will miss him!

Dr. Jay Moro is an amazing doctor. I’ve had four operations done by him and everyone has turned out perfect is very professional very informative all the way through everything I would highly recommend him to anybody that needs orthopaedic surgery

Dr.Moro is fully deserving of my 5 star rating. Couldn’t be happier with the care I received from the time I had my first appointment with him, throughout the surgery process, and right through to the time my bone healed. Truly amazing surgeon! I would not be where I am today feeling so much better if it were not for him & his team. This should say A LOT coming from someone who does not particularly like doctors, hospitals, etc. His care is very well rounded and amazing on multiple levels. I found that he checked every box I could imagine that would be important from explaining upfront what kind of recovery & timeline to expect, what vitamins to increase in my diet ahead of surgery & how much, what pain management and safety considerations I needed, calming my nerves before surgery, and consistently assessing healing and next steps. 100% would recommend him & fully trust him!

I was seeing this physician prior to surgery and about a year post-op. He is definitely incredibly knowledgeable. I appreciate all the work he put into my shoulder following a fracture that occurred at work. I have gotten back so much more range following surgery than I would have ever gotten without it. He was very kind and compassionate. Would absolutely recommend him to one of my friends or family members.

4-week Post-operative Review:

Dr. Moro has been absolutely exceptional in every aspect. Following an accident that resulted in my shoulder dislocation, and subsequent dislocations over the course of six years, I was advised to consult Dr. Moro. He exhibited patience and thoroughness in diagnosing the issue as a Bony Bankart & Hill-Sachs Lesion.

His recommendation for addressing this injury was Laterjet surgery. Once again, he explained the procedure in detail, its associated risks, and the benefits, taking into consideration my active lifestyle.

During the pre-operative appointment, he ensured that I was equipped with the appropriate immobilizing sling and cold therapy unit, ensuring proper fitting and providing detailed usage instructions. He also took the time to discuss the surgery day logistics, addressing all my inquiries.

The surgery proceeded flawlessly as planned. I adhered to pain medication for four days and diligently followed the cold therapy unit regimen as per his guidance. Remarkably, there was no swelling, minimal bruising, and only slight discomfort after the initial four days of medication. Upon removal of the bandaging, the scar appeared remarkably clean.

Now, I am eager to commence physiotherapy but must wait until six weeks, understanding the necessity of allowing adequate time for the healing of bones, tendons, and muscles.

If it were possible, I would rate Dr. Moro with 100 stars. I extend my deepest gratitude for setting me on the path to recovery and enabling me to resume the active lifestyle I cherish.

After multiple surgeries to repair my broken arm Dr. Moro was able to fix it. He was very informative and worked hard to get me into surgery because of how long the process had been. His staff in his office and the fracture clinic were helpful and professional.
