The verdict is out on this one. While I think he is quite accomplished and knowledgeable I question if things really went well with me. I had Kidney Cancer that metastisized into the Lungs, he took out several nodules that were cancer and one rather large nodule by taking a wedge out. A few hours after surgery I was rushed back into surgery because he had missed a bleeder. Seemed a bit upset that he had to come back to the hospital to do my emergency surgery, too. Also, didn't come to see me after the surgery or the next few days. Nurses told me he had check on my progress. When I questioned what had happened, no answers. While I'm very thankful of my outcome, I still have a little nagging thought that maybe he got in a hurry to get to the next patient scheduled as I know my case put him behind because it was more indepth than he first thought.

MY STORY.. This my story what happened to me at H.Lee Moffitt cancer center.. In 2005 I had Thyroid cancer and had the thyroid removed in 2005 in P.A. In 2006 my doctor in P.A. told me that i had cancer of the lung.. But didn't know if it was thyroid cancer or lung cancer..thinking the worst and wanting the best treatment i could get, I went to H.LEE MOFFITT CANCER CENTER In tampa florida..In april 2006 I went to see doctor KEITH E. SOMMERS.. I told and Showed him everything the doctors in P.A. told me..they didn't know what type of cancer i had..Doctor sommers told me not to worry because he would know what type of cancer it was during SURGERY..Well he did the SURGERY and was told the cancer i had was thyroid cancer not primary lung cancer...so he only did a wedge resection on me...After i went back to see him for a check up i was told it was thyroid cancer and everything was fine...I went back home to P.A. and 2 weeks later i got a call from the hospital and was told that the report was wrong and I had adenocarcinoma of the lung!!!!This doctor should of done a lung biopsy but he di
