NO compassion. I went to the ER at the request of my PMD (primary doc) due to a new onset of a terrible headache. My PMD just wanted me to have a CT scan as soon as I could and get some reasonable pain control. I got neither, despite telling Dr Fanning that my PMD sent me. Dr Fanning treated me like a "drug-seeker" and wrote orders for treatment but not for timely pain control and a timely CT. I departed in worse pain due to some ergotamine, and very sleepy due to benadryl and phenergan. Despite being sleepy due to drugs, I could not sleep at home. Very frustrating experience. Dr Fanning's bedside manner and lack of compassion were the worst part of the visit.
