Dr. Mark Silver is one of the worst doctors. I've personally experienced in my 70 years. Out of the blue without warning, without communication, he arbitrarily took me off of the pain medication I've been on for the last 30 years. He just decided he was not going to do pain medicine for his patients. That's great in a perfect world, but as we age we suffer from things or incidents that can cause severe pain and need a caring doctor who can help relieve some of it. I had been with him for three years before this, and the care before this was adequate. He rarely follows up on issues from past visits.

I went through Serotonin poising and a stroke and Dr. Silver didn't do any thing about it for 2 months and 3 visits I kept telling him that I feel like I have had stroke. I know now that if it wasn't for me looking on line for what was happening to me I would have died. Dr. Silver even threatened to have me committed.

Makes mistakes that are costly to your health. Does not listen to patients. Many things such as lab test results get over looked. Resulting in conditions going undiagnosed for long period of time

Dr. Mark E. Silver of Brookings, Oregon is the best doctor I have had. His full attention is on the patient , spends as much time that is needed, and the patient leaves his office knowing what her problem is and what the treatmentis. He does not hesitate to refer his patient to a specialist if necessary. I am very fortunate to have him in this town.
