Dr. Moyo is straight to the point but very knowledgable when it comes to Neurodivergent kiddos. Her staff is hit and miss... sometimes they are friendly and other times not.

Worst Dr. You could probably see. She does not care about the patient at all and just skips and ignores all your conservative and questions. My son has a bad gastro problem and we really needed her to refer. We have been asking since he was 6 months and is now 16 months. She has refused each time. My son is in horrible pain and she just ignores it even after we have shown her pictures and videos of the process. Would avoid going to her. I have had to go to multiply gastro’s my self and tel them his story and what’s wrong just to get an appointments since they all need referrals from family dr.’s

Straight to the point. Kind. Direct. Amazing. Concerns with adhd, developmental trauma, oppositional defiance, holding teens accountable for whatever is possible. Thank you.

My teen daughter has been struggling with increasing anxiety and difficulty in school. On my daughter's request, we saw our doctor who sent us to Dr Moyo. I was a bit nervous, worried she'd be very no-nonsense and dismiss her concerns as regular teen problems. She was amazing. Very matter of fact but understanding, took everything my daughter said extremely seriously and spoke to her as a peer. She took all the time that was needed and more, answered all questions, and gave some really practical tips for my daughter to work with in the meantime while we wait for further screening to talk about possible treatment going forward. My daughter was so relieved and encouraged from that appointment, like a weight had been lifted and relief was in sight. I think she felt like she'd gained some control of her circumstances. I very much appreciated Dr Moyo's manner - even when my children were very small I always appreciated it when doctors talked seriously and directly to them, giving them the benefit of the doubt that they're smart enough to understand. I would recommend Dr Moyo to anyone who wants excellent care for their kids of any age.

Our first appointment with Dr. Moyo (son’s 2 month appt.) was cancelled and rescheduled for 2 weeks later.
In that time, we had seen an Orthopaedic Surgeon at Mac for his hip.
Dr. Moyo did not read our file ahead of the appointment and had no knowledge of his Mac appointment or our breastfeeding journey. I had hemorrhaged following delivery and my milk supply was slow to come in, subsequently affecting a speedy re-gain to birth weight.
At the appointment I was told:
- Midwives only ever perform an episiotomy if “it’s really bad”
- my breast milk supply could be there, but my milk “just might not have the calories. There is research to support this.”
- a baby’s skin should be tight everywhere, without any loose areas
- breastfed babies don’t need a probiotic because breast milk has everything a baby needs
- in order to increase baby’s weight: breastfeed and then bottle feed an additional 3 oz of breastmilk. If I don’t have the breastmilk, feed baby formula
- did not explain the growth chart well nor did she explain what percentile my baby was in
- was reluctant to acknowledge he was growing overall
- did not ask how many diapers he makes in a day, baby’s overall mood after feeds

The Dr. requested a follow up in two weeks time. I booked this at the front desk before we left and received a call the following day because “Dr. Moyo wants to see you in two weeks to check baby’s weight.” I responded, “yes, we booked that yesterday” and provided the date and time that was decided. “Well, it’s a good thing I called to check because Dr. Moyo just cancelled it and wants to reschedule.”

We won’t be going back.

Dr. Moyo has been the pediatrician for my two kids for about 12 years now. Rules in her office are only to keep the children and the people visiting safe. She is friendly, knowledgeable and answers the concerns as needed.
