I gives mixed reviews on Dr A. Klemptner. He seems like a pretty knowledgeable doctor but is quick to push medications on patients when they aren't truly needed and because he is an internist, he will refer you to other doctors...where in turn you have to pay co-pays all over again. I quit going to him and see a regular family doctor who takes care of all my needs now and relates to me on a more personal level.

I have been Going to Dr. Klemptner for 10 years. He has always been helpful, knowleged, and truly cares about his patients. He seems to stay up to date with latest treatments and meds. He takes as much time as you need while hes with you and never makes you feel rushed. I am aware of the less than outgoing reception staff, however, i have learned over the years in that office, I can count on them to get paperwork done correctly and timely. I have noticed in the past year that the reception staff is getting a lot more freindly. Maybe they are getting the word. As for me, I go to that office to see the doctor, not the receptionist. You could not ask for a better and more qualified Doctor that Dr. Albert Klemptner. I will continue to go to him.

Both Dr. Klemptners and the nurses are great however, the receptionist staff is awful. They are rude, cold and very unprofessional - so bad that I have found a new PCM today and will not be going back to that office. The receptionist staff are the 1st people we talk to or see when going to the doctors office, unfortunately his staff really don't seem to give a crap about patient needs or care - they need to be replaced... God forbid you interupt their lunch or something. I have had nothing but bad experiences with the receptionist(s) to include problems with referrals, prescription call-ins/refills and I was actually told "if I want any of pain meds to be rifilled I would have to drive 20 miles to the office, arm in sling, tendons severed from an accident 3 days ago, plus I was on vicadin and I have a stick shift vehicle. This woman treated me as if I was a junkie and wouldn't even let me speak to my doctor... Well, they lost my business b/c of very bad employee attitudes!!

I have been going to Dr. Albert for a few years now. I never have to wait for a Dr. appoint. like I did at the other office I was going to.

I like Dr. Klemptner. He is personable and pretty thorough. Can always get in to see him on short notice. His staff doesn't always get my medication amounts right when I call in for a refill. That's why I gave them a poorer rating. I have FMS and Dr. Klemptner seems to know a bit about it which most Dr.s don't. I have been doing well since I have been going to him. My husband and son also go to him and they have been happy too.
