Compassion, sense of. Humor, good interpersonal skills, maturity, able to listen and communicate, listening, not rushing you out of office wanting to help you and learn. Does dr. Dean zizzo have these qualities. I think not. His nurse Hilary does and many more qualities putting Dr Zizzo to shame.

My family has had Dr. Dean for a general physician and I will continue to have my go there.

His staff are polite and helpful. His Nurse (Hillary) is friendly and has a calming presence which makes you feel very comfortable. I disagree with a number of comments about Dr. Dean's beside manner, care and knowledge. Yes, he is abrupt but he is speaking truthfully. He gets to the point as we all have busy lives and places to be. If he doesn't have a good idea of what is going on, then he makes referrals for you. He doesn't give you pointless bloodwork if it is not relevant to what is going on with the issue(s) you came in for.

You are never limited to questions and he does take the time to talk about your concerns. You will have to wait for referrals to specialist, as I have had to wait over a year to get into a clinic, but that is above the control of the doctors office.

If you are looking for a doctor, who gets to the point, tells you like it is and gets you in and out with what you need, he is the doctor for you. If you're looking for a physician who treats you like one of his family member's, holds your hand and is eager to treat cuts, boo-boo's and the common cold; then he is not the doctor for you.

“Dr” Dean Zizzo is lacking in compassion, care and bedside manner and knowledge. His main goal seems to be billing. On many occasions he was unwilling to listen to me as to why I was there and would interrupt, changing the topic. I had serious medical problems this summer and his “treatment” was to request bloodwork this coming November and that incompetence had me heading to the ER in an ambulance on several occasions. Fortunately the doctor that saw me in the ER and the surgeon that operated on my suggested I get another family physician and with their help, that was successful and I’m finally getting the medical care I need. I’d give “Dr” Dean a ZERO rating but that’s not an option on this site. How ever his nurse practitioner and diabetic specialist are and were wonderful.

RUN. Do Not go here. These people are absolutely the worst GP ove ever had. I have a serious illness. They have jad important paperwork that needed to be done asap and it took 4 months to fill it out. After all that time it was incorrect and not complete. Many mistakes made by the Dr. and staff. Either they are too busy or just don't care.

This dr is awful!! He has attitude issues!! Why are you a dr? To make others feel worthless is that how you get your rewards? Making patients feel awful about their medical condition. Reevaluate your career!

I have been with this Dr for quite a years hoping they would improve, but did they exact opposite. I have found the Dr to be arrogant and lacking in bedside manner to the point of tears which has lead me to not want to even bring up other issues. I have been made to feel small, insignificant and crazy. I have had medications prescribed for my child without my knowledge (also in the incorrect strength). I have had trouble getting ahold of a single person as they never answer phones, and have had trouble getting the right prescriptions renewed.

An absolute joke of a doctor. I am not sure if you can even call yourself a doctor if you just hire nurses to do your job.

Just an fyi. If your dr has no back up you are free to go justo walk in clinics and he is not allowed to back charge you.

Have been told I can only discuss one issue per visit. Have been told I will be dropped from the roster if I go to a clinic again. The nurse case practitioner is the only reason why I stay with this doctor
