This was a visit to introduce my husband who was trying to find a new MD. The staff where very kind and friendly. Dr. Naib was very knowledgeable thorough, friendly and kind. He listened to every word, viewed my husbands medical records and arranged for blood work. Went to the attached pharmacy and made arrangements for his prescriptions to be bubbled packed and filled. Could not ask for a better first appointment. He is now my husbands new Doctor.

Wish I can give 0 stars for Naib. The worst doctor I have seen in my life. A disgrace to Medical profession. So judgemental about your illnesses. Has bad/incorrect notes with which he blames yourself for having an health issue. I was sent home saying all my health issues are my own imagination. Wont stop talking ever. Bullshits random stuff, doesnt know how to talk, makes stupid jokes and thinks they're funny, very insulting. Would never ever recommend this doctor for people whose Self-Respect is important. Still wondering how he is still employed to treat so many patients.

Rude - disrespectful - arrogant and hasn't the knowledge to be looking after seniors - he has put my Dad through unnecessary pain. Wouldn't recommend him to look after a dog. Talks over you - won't listen - writes down wrong observations and experiences in the file - refuses to look at physical problems and blames the patient when the problem doesn't resolve itself. If he isn't crazy he is definitely a user of something he shouldn't be - doesn't make sense, makes wrong diagnosis - comes up with wacko ideas and conversations - a disgrace to the medical profession and vulnerable seniors are depending on him... move on if he is recommended - might save your loved ones life.

Came in for very sore heels. Discovered instead a very fatphobic rhetoric that had nothing to do with why I was there in the first place. Told me my pain was imagined. Would not stop talking long enough to listen to me. I've actually never been talked to so terribly in my life by a professional. I started crying in the appointment and cried about this appointment for the rest of the day, and it's been a month later and I'm still upset about it. I've since seen another doctor who immediately could feel the swelling I had been talking about, immediately prescribed me medicine, and I'm finally moving towards recovery. Also a warning, before I even started my appointment, he was in the room, speaking into a microphone. I thought he was asking me questions about my problems, but instead he was writing his notes in ANOTHER PATIENT'S file. So I was sitting there, listening to all of his thoughts on someone else. Pretty sure that violates patient/doctor confidentiality. Do not visit this one.

I don't know anything about the above criteria. My experience has been with the facility for seniors that he is working at. I got a call from the pharmacy because this quack had ordered Tylenol for my husband and he is NOT his doctor, I did not sign his care over to him. My husband has very complex issues and his family doctor and I had just taken him off Tylenol not 1-1/2 weeks earlier. My issue is, how do you prescribe for someone who is not your patient. When I checked further into it with the facility (which I also would not recommend), they told me that my husband had seen this quack in the hallway and told him he was in pain, so they found it perfectly acceptable for him to order meds for someone who is not his patient. I am seriously considering taking this to the College of Physicians and Surgeons after my husband is no longer at that place. Beware of this quack.

Have been going to him regularly then started experiencing pain so went to him regarding the pain. Did not listen and told me I was imagining my pain. Would not order xrays or any tests simply because I was "imagining it". Pain got so severe, went to hospital and turned out I had ovarian cysts.. went back (my stupidity) when was experiencing back pain and he told me I was imagining it again even when I had proven him wrong. Went back to the medicentre since he did not listen and got xrays, turns out I have a herniated disc in my spine. Still refused to listen to me and told me the medicentre doctor and my chiropractor were wrong... waited 3 hours to see him even though I had a set appointment and walked out feeling berated and belittled. Told me I should be on antidepressants as I was imagining my pain and told me I needed "mental help"... also made me go in to get a prescription refill and lectured me stating that I shouldnt be taking any of my medications (for acid indigestion) as I was fine... had to argue with him to refill my prescription even though I have been taking the same medication for 8 years... he has made me feel like I am crazy and wrong for complaining about pain even though they were legitimate medical problems.

There is not enough time in the day to describe the extreme disgust I have for Naib. He is rude, disrespectful and has no business being a dr. I highly discourage anyone from using him. On multiple occasions I have witnessed poor judgement and his utter lack of respect for patients and staff. I deal with multiple doctors on a daily basis and am saddened that Canada has allowed such a doctor to care for so many people. Not only will you choke on his poor bed side manner but his overall care is uncomfortably poor. DO NOT USE!!

Very unprofessional, does not have emphaty and good rappor towards his patients and their families. I find him to be very incompetent. I don't know how he got his license to be a doctor in Canada!!

My experience with Dr. Naib is very different from most of these comments. Also new to the province, I was frantic about a test recall from my former out-of-province Dr. After visiting two Edmonton mediclinics that didn't understand what needed to be done, I found Dr. Naib, who expedited the re-test, explained the results in deep detail, and booked a follow test in 6 mths, just to be certain. I've since returned to Dr. Naib for a physical and am very pleased with his level of care. Was he punctual for the walk-in visits; no, but then I don't know of many doctors who are. Dr. Naib was on time for all booked appointments with me and he was courteous; my "too Canadian-ness" wasn't an issue. Lastly, my intial visits were covered by my former provincial health care program until AB health kicked in.
