Dr Tsang was amazing, After being told that i had lung cancer, it was less then 2 weeks and i was in the OR, such a nice guy and what can i say this Dr saved my life when i was 42, My dad said he seen Dr Tsang down by the cafeteria and Dr Tsang came up to him and said your boy is going to be ok, here i am 4 years later.
Can not thank this man enough

I had open heart surgery in July2022. Had amazing attentive care from Dr Tsang and Dr Korkola. Had an extended stay and the amazing staff on Surgical Telemetry, SICU , and Pacemaker team were top notch .

It’s surgeon’s like this dr tsang is the reason the surgery waiting list is so long in Saskatchewan.It hard to believe man was close to being head surgery. Unfortunately this doctor lacks ethics and integrity.But good luck in Saskatchewan finding a cardiologist or surgeon that have ethics or integrity.Until Sask health fixes the so called health care worker shortages this may get worsed

Different doctor did first surgery. Painful for a year. Dr Tsang finally did surgery. GREAT! Just did the surgery again and it was also GREAT X2. Thank you Dr. John Tsang.

In the early hours of April 23, 2012, my husband was rushed to Regina by ambulance to see Dr. Tsang. He arrived at the hospital by around 7:00 am after seeing the results of a CT scan that was done earlier in the morning. He called in colleagues for consultation and it was determined they would have to take him to surgery to find out what was causing the fluid around his heart. By 8:30 am he was on his way into the surgery. Dr. Tsang came out of the surgery as soon as they had determined that it was blood pooling around the heart and that he would have to find out what was causing this and repair it. Around 4:30 pm Dr. Tsang came out to tell me that it had been a torn aorta leading to the brain and my husband had been taken to recovery. After great care from all in the hospital my husband made it home. It will soon be 9 years since that day. We are extremely grateful to Dr. Tsang and his team and the wonderful care that he has provided following the surgery. My husband has had a great life because of this doctor's expertise.

Drs Tsang and Moustafa completed open heart surgery on me September 2018 for an aortic dissection. I have fully recovered and must manage what is now a chronic condition. I received excellent care and Dr. Tsang is monitoring my condition especially my aortic aneurysms and repairs done to my heart. He’s thorough, consistent and welcomes questions and gives time to answer them. I’m grateful for his ongoing care. The staff at his clinic are also wonderful , welcoming and take the time to respond to enquiries. They are all very professional. 5+ in my view.

I was diagnosed with lung cancer. Dr. Tsang was my surgeon who performed my lobectomy via Vats and saved my life. He acted quickly to book a surgery date and time is critical with cancer. After surgery I had I weeks of chemo. Now I am cancer free for almost 18 months grateful every day to Dr. Tsang and his team. I was 56 years old and at gym 6 days a week good physical shape when diagnosed. Thank you Dr Tsang. Excellent surgeon.

When one is going through the overwhelming, stressful experience of open heart surgery you want a professional, experienced, caring doctor for your surgeon. Our family was provided this by having Dr. John Tsang as my husbands surgeon. He never made us feel like we were asking too many questions, in fact, he encouraged questions before and after surgery. After surgery, while my husband was still in hospital, he waited until family was there to go over treatment plans for him, he understood the need for special care as my husband has been diagnosed with early onset Alzheimer's. Never once did we experience anything but kindness and dignity shown to our whole family. Dr. Tsang is an honourable , skilled surgeon whom we would recommend to anyone.
