I took my father to his appointments with Dr. Savage for several years. He gave Dad his full attention, was respectful, patient, and very helpful.

Absolutely the most rude and arrogant doctor I've ever been to in my life. I would never recommend him. If you're scheduled for an appointment at Carilion, ask for a different doctor. This guy couldn't care less about his patients. Truly an awful care provider, and a sad, sad individual.

I have not had any issues with his care or information given. I have recommended others to him and they were very impressed with him.

Although he can be blunt, this is a excellent doctor. One who is very knowledgable and very skilled in his area of medicine. I would put my life or that of a loved one in his hands with all confidence.
