Biography

Joseph Fredi, MD, FACC, FACP, practices cardiology at Pierremont Cardiology, a Willis-Knighton clinic in Shreveport, Louisiana. He treats adult patients with cardiovascular disease. His passion for patient interaction intersects with his passion for cardiology to affect life-saving therapies for patients with heart disease. Dr. Fredi specializes in interventional cardiology with a special interest in structural heart interventions using noninvasive procedures. Dr. Fredi is board certified in interventional cardiology, cardiovascular disease and internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine. He is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology (FACC) and a Fellow of the American College of Physicians (FACP). Dr. Fredi graduated from University of Tennessee Health Science Center College of Medicine in Memphis. He completed his medical training with an internship and internal medicine residency at University of Rochester/Strong Memorial Hospital in New York. He was chief resident in his final year. Dr. Fredi’s specialty training was a cardiology fellowship in his native Tennessee at Vanderbilt University in Nashville.
