I have seen Dr Garland many times in the last few years for cauterization of veins in my nose. She got me in quickly and resolved the problem of nose bleeds quickly and successfully. She is kind, gentle, and apologetic if something she is doing hurts! I am really going to miss the wonderful gift to the world of medicine

Disorganized front staff and lack of communication between doctor and front staff. She is retiring and hopefully her successor will be more interested in providing care.

I can't say enough BAD things about this Doctor! Seriously, run the other way. It took me a long time to finally write this review because I was just so absolutely upset about our experience with her. My son had (really still has) a tongue and lip tie and my fily doctor put in a referal to dr. Garland to have them revised when he was 1 week old. At around 4 months, I finally called to see where they were with booking us and they lost the referral. That was fine and they were bale to get us in for a consultation about a week later. When she saw us, she barely looked in his mouth and definitely did not evaluate him property not checking the function of his tongue at all. She rushed in and out and told us to make an appointment with the receptionist to have it revised the following week at the hospital. When we arrived at the hospital for our appointment, she was late and we weren't seen for almost an hour. When we got in, she didn't remember us or why we were there and started doing her rush job evaluation again exclaiming "oh he definitely is tied!" To which we replied yes, we saw you last week to confirm that and we're here for his revision. She looked super confused and said sorry there's no one here today to help you'll have to book another appointment to which we were a bit peeved but whatever, accidents happen. When he was revised at the next appointment, she said no aftercare was necessary and no follow up which I found to be strange since everything I've read says a tongue tire revision requires a check up and stretches. My son's tie healed back to itself. I called her office months later to let them know and they booked us another consultation to see for themselves. She told us she could do it again but this time they would put him to sleep and put stitches in so it couldn't heal back together. After the procedure while my son was still out, she came out to let us know that it went well and I had a gut feeling to double check that she put the stitches in and sure enough she said she forgot. At this point I was furious for letting her touch my baby again! She said she'd go back and put some in. When I saw him after when he woke up he was crying inconsolabley and I could clearly see that there were no stitches under his tongue. We left furious. Her receptionist called a couple days later to ask how he was doing to which I told her we were very unhappy with the service we received as she didn't put the stitches in and she said she would check in with her and call me back. She called me back and told me that "she put one stitch in." As an experienced doctor, she should have know that one single stitch in a babies tongue would probably not hold and if she put the stitch at all, it was not there by the time I saw him minutes later. I absolutely do not recommend this doctor at all and am still so upset that this happened to my son.

Dr. Garland is top notch. She is exudes professionalism, intelligence and kindness. She treated my mother with sincere interest and a willingness to help. I have worked in health care for a few years and I can say with certainty Dr. Garland is one of the best otolaryngologists I have ever worked with.

I had a very very bad parathyroid gland which completely messed up my life . After surgery with Dr Garland it was night and day. Minimum scarring and completely back to normal in about 2 weeks. I've never looked back. Great Dr.
