Dr. Shanley listens carefully and treats accordingly. There is nothing more important than a man who cares for his patients, forgets none, is available when needed and is genuinely kind and professional.

I have been seeing Frank of about 30 years. He saved my husbands life by ordering tests OUTSIDE his specialty and improved my health with treatment others doctors belittled and were outright friking condescending and rude. Dr. Frank Shanley is a good doctor. What does that mean today? Well, HE KNOWS MY NAME! He knows why I am visiting him. He knows MY MEDICAL HISTORY off the top of his head and not just by looking at my folder. And I tell him EVERYTHING. Why go to a doctor with a broken leg and shuffle around saying, "It hurts a bit?" We spend constructive office and diagnose time together. Not a 3 minute exam-NEXT.
As to all the compiling about yelling at office staff, neither you nor I know the reasons. Maybe a person on the staff NEEDED yelling at. MAYBE it was an emergency. I have seen the SAME office staff in my 30 years to the point where I call, say my name and they KNOW me.
Dr Frank Shanley is doctor you can truly trust with you LIFE!

I've been going to Dr. Shanley since his office opened in Denville in the early 1980's. I have received nothing but the best in medical treatment. In fact, I have recommended him to no less than eight different friends and relatives over the years and they all continue to see him. He is in the profession because he genuinely cares about people. He returns phone calls and has always taken a genuine interest in my overall health. I consider Dr. Shanley - and his excellent staff - family.

Dr. Shanley may be a reputable doctor when it comes to his medical knowledge and background. However, I've seen him degrade his staff and nurses. Because of this, I feel uncomfortable with the level of care he is able to provide and I don't recommend him to anyone. He gets anxious, overwhelmed, yells and is unprofessional. He does not return phone calls either. No respect.
