I find him to be an alarmist..... scared the crap out of me. Wantedbto give me a high power anxiety med cause im afraid of needles.... I was upfront about it and did what I needed to do to let them do it, and I dont have prescriptions with my iinsurance and he insisted on a $125 cough med when I was sick!

Dr. Shalit has not practiced in Texas in the last 3 years and by the way was wonderful when he practiced here. The other rating dated 12/08 is totally bogus. (Its the Internet folks !)

I am a doctor myself (although I do not practice family medicine), and after an appointment with Dr. Shalit, I was given great insight into why people are afraid to go to their general practitioner.
