Dr. K is a very kind man. He really cares about his patients. I've known him for 26 yrs and he has always treated me with dignity and respect. I've had doctors outright laugh at me, dismiss me because I'm overweight, and in other ways, behave disrespectfully. (One doctor checked his messages 3x's within my 5 min appointment!) But not Dr. K. He's great. He always takes me seriously, even for the minor complaints. Sometimes he can be a little intimidating, but overall he is very approachable. (I try to keep in mind that he's very busy, has a lot of responsibility, and is doing the best that he can. He is only human, after all; recognizing that helps.) And if he doesn't know the answer to a question, he has the humility to admit it. Then he'll do research to find the answer. Or if it is outside his area of knowledge he'll refer me out, which I don't like, but I understand that it's sometimes necessary. My one fear is that he'll retire before I die. Then what will I do?

Get ready for a spin dry session if you seek care from this guy. After you leave, you'll not only not know what you have or how you got it, but will not feel too comfortable that you're on the way to regaining your health after your appointment. I felt as though I was a burden on him he had better things to do than to treat my particular condition. Awful session. Think I'll look around for another Dr. Almost forgot. The staff is terrible to work with.
