Both my husband and I see Dr. Carey. My husband had several skin grafts on his face (skin cancer) and you cannot see them at all - the work was so perfect. I have rosacea and pigmentation issues (hormonal). He fixed my face. It took 2 years in increments but he and his nurse, Victoria, fixed me with a variety of medical and cosmetic treatments. He is kind and very smart. We think the world of him.

Dr Carey is an excellent diagnostician having found previously undiagnosed cancers in both my mother and me. Mine was on the columella (area between nostrils) and required a complicated removal including 5 stitches and skin grafting. There is no sign of it having been done. Have had nothing but excellent results with Dr Carey,cosmetic and otherwise.

I had a prescription for a cyst that opened and needed to be removed. I had to argue with him for 15 mins because he did not believe me (even did the facial expression). He got annoyed at me and examined me ''properly''. Discovered I was right, proceed to take it off but it all went wrong. He panicked and had to call for help in the room. Looks like a butcher took care of me. Didn't get any medication for the pain or anything to ease it. Stay away from him...really not good doctor.

I was referred to Dr Carey for screening of a few moles my doctor was concerned about. I was a bit apprehensive after reading most of the reviews, however I have to say that Dr Carey was extremely nice and knew immediately the nature of what I was showing him. He reassured me and gave me the actual name for my moles. A gentleman, very pleased with my visit. I recommend Dr Carey for sure!

These negative reviews really don’t match my experience with Dr Carey all? First of all when two previous doctors told me not to worry about a growing mole on my arm—Dr Carey made me biopsy it and called me immediately with the diagnosis that it was Insitu Melanoma and recommended the Dr to remove it. He basically saved my life. He is very caring and once you are inside his office he gives me endless time to ask every question under the sun. A wonderful and knowledgable professional.

He showed up with an evident skin problem including skin lesions, Dr. Wayne Carey was unable to give me any medical advice.

In fact, he went as far as telling me I had nothing, and I was imagining my problem!!!

I left their Clinic with absolutely No diagnosis, therefore not treatment and my situation was getting worst.
I saw another Doctor weeks later and he knew immediately what I had and gave me medication to treat my skin with.
I would not recommend this Clinic, especialy Dr. Wayne Carey, he is totally incompetent.

This Clinic's focus is mainly selling you beauty services, with a large customer base looking for such services.
I presented myself with a rare but known skin disease, with skin lesions that where obvious to anyone's eyes. Yet, when Dr. Wayne Carey came in, asked what my problem was and as I was explaining my situation that had been wrongly diagnosed by another Dermatologist 4 weeks priors, the treatment I had received was not conclusive and easy to See.
Dr. Carey interrupted me, and I felt he was not paying attention when I was telling him about what the Skin disease was causing me.
I kind of lifted his eyes as if that was not possible!!
He proceeded in asking me standard blood tests questions, and it was during this time I told him that my family doctor had sent me to see urgently a Dermatologist.
he barely examined my skin, in fact my problem was all over my skin and he chose to examine my back and neck and as I was turning and showing more skin lesions, he said I saw enough, and that he would contact my doctor to discuss his diagnosis.
At that point I still do not know what I have, and he is basically telling me leave without a prescription of any kind even though I mentioned that I was getting hardly any sleep, my skin hurts, and I had plenty of lesions down my back.
After two weeks I spoke with my Doctor on the phone about my appointment with Dr. Wayne Carey, to find out that when my family Doctor called him back to get information about his diagnosis, it turns out that he says to my doctor I had nothing and I was imagining a skin condition that he did NOT SEE.

Few weeks later after a face to face RDV with my family doctor he was shocked to see that a Dermatologist could not detect this rare but know skin disease that I had.

He researched and gave me a prescription with the name of what I had and a treatment.

In conclusion, if you only have a pimple on your skin somewhere, then Dr. Wayne Carey's clinic is a great clinic for such therapy.
But, If you find yourself with a SERIOUS SKIN CONDITION, Do yourself a Big favor find yourself another Dermatologist this clinic's main focus is not on this type of issue.

Fossil wayne carey needs to retire. There are plenty of younger, vibrant, caring doctors who can serve you in the Montreal area. A self-respecting individual will stay away from this place.

Ca fait quelques années que je consulte Dr. carey, mais là, ça y est, je n’y retourne plus.
J’ai demandé à le voir pour une crise aigue de psoriasis. Il a paru indifférent et pas du tout intéressé à trouver une solution. J’étais déjà ébranlée et vulnérable lorsque je suis entrée dans son bureau compte tenu de la mauvaise crise que je traverse. Il n’avait pas de solution pour me soulager, compte tenu que je prend des médicaments poir le coeur. Il a suggéré des lampes de photothérapie mais ne pouvait me donner aucune référence ou me guider dans cette démerche. J’étais tellement découragée et déçue qu’il ne puisse pas me donner un certain soulagement que j’ai éclaté en sanglot devant lui. Quel embarassement. Je me sentais rédicule devant lui, mais n’a pas montré aucun signe d’ampathie. Pour lui, je suis une patiente parmis tant d’autres, c’est vrai, mais quand cette maladie affecte ta santé mentale, j’aimerais que le médecin me fasse sentir juste un peu que mon problème de psoriasis l’intéresse.
En passant, le Dr Carey était beaucoup plus aimable et patient et concerné lorsqu’il m’a fait des injections de remplissage d’acide hyaulorilique il y a quelques années. Beuacoup plus payant pour lui au privé!!!!!!!!
Une vrai honte! Bref, je suis encore soou le coup de l’émotion, et j’avais besoon d’en parler.
