I had problems with my digestion during the time she was my physician. She didn't do anything about it, at least not anything remotely helpful. Then after several years I got a new doctor who immediately referred me to a gastroenterologist and, after conversations with the specialist and some testing was done, I was finally given real diagnoses and medication so I didn't have to suffer so much pain anymore.
I considered this woman to be neglectful at worst, and simply incompetent at best.

I have have been patient of Dr. Senders since 1999 and never had any problems with getting needed medical care. She is very friendly, understanding and easy to talk to, for me those are most qualities in a doctor. I have suffered from PSD all my life and now have major clinical depression on top of that, she has never pushed any drugs on me, instead she worked with me to find the right treatment and medication. Thanks to her I am having ongoing help with my problem and have recently been fast forwarded to a new treatment for my PSD related problems. I have seen some statement were people stated that she made them go off meds cold turkey, she has never done that to me, their was always transition period between switching medications. Doctors are not know it alls and need patients full input so that you can get proper treatment. I had addiction before I became her patient and kicked it on my own, since I was addicted to painkillers and suffer from migraines she makes sure I get only limited amount of Tylenol 2 every month and have to see her incase I need more than my monthly dose. I would recommend her anybody as a good family doctor, after all I travelled for past 10 years from French river area to see her even after I got a family doctor in North Bay, who I fired after 4 mo.

Dr Sender seems to have her good and bad days. She seems unsure what to do sometimes when you tell her what's going on, you may need to prompt her to send you for tests. Get a gyno if you need your annual.. she's certainly not gentle. Friendly, does care about emotional issues - offered a wide variety of solutions rather than jumping to medications (ie. therapy, counselling, self help websites, etc.). Cares for well-being. Some days she isn't helpful at all, but others she's very proactive and makes sure you're getting all the tests you need done, etc. So really, it's hit and miss.

My friends gave me advice and told me to find another Doctor. After being rushed to the ER with a racing heart because she took me off meds cold turkey. The Doctors were dumb founded as to how a physician could do this and told me to write and call the academy of medicine. I went home that day with 5 medications that should have been perscribed in the first place. She had no idea or help as to what the consequences would be. I say run as I'm lucky to be writing this.

Dr. Sender takes a wishy washey approach to family and medical matters. She is supposed to be trained in addictions yet seems to lack any form of assessment skills and knowledge of typical behaviours. She is quick to offer a prescritpion for anything and often feeds into addictive personalities which is why I believe people with addictions may like her as a physican. She released my teenage daughters health records without consent and offereed no explanation other than a weak apology when confronted....not thinking of the emotional damage or consequences of her actions. When I have contacted her office for clarification for prescriptions and/ or treamtents she refuses to answer my calls instead having her office staff (unregualted health care workers) relay messages. She is flakey and lacks any confidence in treamtents and diagnosis. She is quick to offer prescriptions with little or no follow up.

Dr Sender is sometimes doubtful about her judgments, but I consider that a good thing in a doctor. She knows the limits of her own knowledge, and is not authoritarian in her relationships with patients. She is very intelligent and very knowledgeable, but sometimes self-questioning. --Good to see in a doctor! She writes prescriptions often, but then that is the approach of modern medicine in general. I am impressed with her caring and her gentleness. She always takes my concerns seriously, and is honest about what is available in the way of treatments.

Dr. Sender seems to be a genuinely nice person. However, she is a useless doctor. I was not feeling well for quite sometime and I suggested getting blood work done & she said that it wouldn't make a difference! She literally shrugged her shoulders and sent me away. She seems very unsure of herself and lacks confidence.

Dr. Sender is a wonderful person and a very competent physician. She and her staff are genuine and prompt. We have found that Dr. Sender always takes good care of our family. If there is a need for more information on a health issue, Dr. Sender researches it or refers us to a specialist. Overall, Dr. Sender definitely helps us feel like we are her priority everytime we visit with her.

Dr. Sender has been my doctor since she started practicing and I will say that I love her as a doctor. I have several medical problems which required the help of many specialists and she was quick to make sure that happened. She asks about my health and how I'm doing when she has an appointment with my husband and vice versa. She has called me personally with test results that needed to be addressed quickly. I've never had to wait more than a few minutes in her office and while she is a little flaky at times (so am I) I find it to be part of her charm and not something that has an effect on her ability to be a good doctor.
