Just check out oscn.net and search wackowski for the last name and it pulls up many records for this "so-called" physician. He almost killed a friend of mine and that friend will most likely die within the next couple months, it could be tomorrow. His treatment/lack of treatment has done irreversible damage to my friend. Without disclosing my friend's medical condition it is one that they weren't technically allergic to the strong meds Michael J Wackowski put them on but with the condition they have you aren't supposed to put them on a certain type of medication. My friend was doing good last month and now near death. "Dr" Wackowski, I put doctor in quotes since he has no business or understanding of very basic medical conditions and treatments. He is a failure as a physician as he has had multiple medical malpractice suits, failure as a husband as it appears ex-wife is a physician as well but probably got tired of whatever his issue is so divorced him. I don't know if he is on drugs, sadistic, doesn't care or just lazy to the point of he has no business even cleaning commercial buildings restrooms. My friends issue was so minor and he has done irreversible, damage that will most likely cause death soon. He's at Saint Francis currently and they have really gone downhill in more ways than one but this physician is a failure as a doctor, husband, business owner(as per open records on oscn.net) he owned a fencing company. Why a doctor owns a fencing company I don't know, other than a contingency plan, due to the multiple medical malpractice suits. He doesn't like paying his bills as well. I don't understand how a physician who has been practicing medicine for over 30 years owes over 100K to the Oklahoma Tax Commission and IRS(once again it's all public record). I know it mentioned owing that amount to one entity but don't recall the other amount but well over 100K. I found lawsuit after lawsuit. We all go through tough times but I don't understand how a physician who has been practicing for over 30 years has had multiple foreclosures as well and is even getting his wages garnished by the IRS and Oklahoma Tax commission. He's a failure and from what my friend told me a very mean and aggressive doctor, like outbursts of anger towards patients. Does Saint Francis do a background check? I had a job doing customer service and they checked my credit that was for a very unimportant product. After the medical malpractice lawsuits at St. John it seems they may have allowed him to resign which is very common since if they fire the employee, in this case a prestigious position of being a physician, then it shows that they are pretty much admitting guilt so many times they'll let someone stay a short time longer, go on extended vacation, and then pretty much force them to do a voluntary resignation so they aren't admitting guilt. But he can't keep a job, pay his mortgage or taxes, hold a marriage together, can't run a business, etc. I mean the insane idea of a physician who has been practicing over 30 years getting multiple foreclosures, his wages garnished, constantly in court is mind-boggling. This guy is a failure on all levels yet still working at Saint Francis. Also, my friend is younger but it seems he does a lot of stuff with geriatric patients so don't let this physician near any loved ones but it seems his mistreatment from everything I've read has affected the elderly population quite a bit more. My friend even told me they spoke with nurses and home-health aides hey now need. Some have heard of this physician or worked with him and all have reacted without surprise regarding this guy. I mean he's a true blight at Saint Francis and everything/everywhere he goes. I can't believe Saint Francis even hired him but it just shows how low their standards have dropped.

Do NOT go to this doctor. I've had conversations with nurses and home health aides outside of St Francis that know of him and before we mention our HORRIBLE experience with him, they say how awful he is. It's either that or they say "oh, I know of him". Yikes. I know people have bad days and I try to give the benefit of the doubt but everyday must be the worst day ever to him. Every interaction was either frustrating or horrible. He is rude, hostile, negligent, will not listen or order tests/treat the patient until you threaten lawsuits. I'm telling you people, do not let a doctor talk to you crazy and push back if they aren't making sense. If your loved one is ill BE THERE TO ADVOCATE for them! If my family member didn't have us, they'd be at home dead on the floor. They had multiple (treatable) issues he let fester. 1 of the nurses was an absolute angel and helped get answers to the illness and worked on treatment. Honestly, that nurse has my eternal gratitude!

Just as an example of this doctors negligence/lack of care: A phone call from a nurse 5 min before and they're saying my family member has X, Y, Z and is being treated for X, Y and Z. This doctor calls 5 min later saying nothing is wrong and it's only dementia. NO IT WASN'T. I think the staff has lost faith in him and staff treats the patients behind his back. How do they call saying it's X, Y, Z and the doctor calls 5 min later saying it's nothing? My family member would have DIED if staff listened to him. Since St. Francis has hired this Merchant of Death DO NOT GO TO ST FRANCIS if you are not trying to die. We are not an assisted suicide state. If you are trying to die by assisted suicide, that's the only way I would recommend him. I care more about my house plants than this doctor does about human life. Be safe you all.

My mother is in Saint Francis and a grim reaper Doctor Michael Joseph Wackowski, called for the first time since she's been there on February 11 so 10 days and was talking in circles. Since he made so little sense I asked him if I could record what he was saying, he got extremely angry, said I can deal only with the case workers from now on and blocked my number. I called from my wife's phone and he answered and I politely asked for a better explanation and he said we aren't doing this and blocked her number. I've been requesting an oncologist from day 1 due to some irregularities from the first visit and just now they are putting her on an iron IV since she's anemic. After the 2 calls I left a voicemail and told him I was going to make a formal complaint to The State Department of Health and get an attorney involved if needed. Guess what, he finally had an oncologist see her. He put her on an IV drip due to the anemia and she is doing a little better tonight but that doesn't mean she's better. Now my mother has been bed-ridden so long she will never walk again. If Dr. Michael Joseph Wackowski who was the doctor overseeing her looked at any test results at all he could tell that was the case. I was able to determine after looking at test results through the MyChart website from her primary physician and this so-called hospital and so-called physician her levels were low and I have no medical background. Saint Francis claims to be a non-profit but they only care about profit. I was born there, my mother was even an RN there and they treat her like trash while their administrators get 350K/year salaries. This place is a death trap. I used to think it was the best hospital in Tulsa but today, they only care about profits. She has been accepted into hospice meaning they expect her to die within 6 months. If you feel your family member is in danger if released tell them it's an "unsafe discharge". Only say that if it's true but they can't negligently send a patient to a place to die. Well, they can but after many sleepless nights and hours of research I learned I can contest due to the truth, it's an unsafe discharge. I would have refused discharge much earlier if I knew I could contest the discharge, not as a stall tactic but as a legitimate medical safety issue but either way they've brought my mother to death's doorstep. Thanks Saint Francis and Dr. Michael Joseph Wackowski for making it to where my mother will never walk again and most likely will die within the next couple months!

My mother was in the hospital recovering from a broken shoulder and hip, we were waiting on him to let us know when she was ready to be moved to rehab and he put it back on me (her daughter) telling me she should have been gone “yesterday” like it was me keeping her here at ST Francis. Like I have control over that?!? He also never really spoke to my mother, never evaluated her in any way physically. He is an uncaring arrogant azz. The nurse Jason also copped his attitude. Otherwise, we have always had excellent care at St Francis. I will fire him before we ever get started during a next stay.

Arrogant. Does not listen. Has no real interest in welfare of his patient. Saint Francis should fire him immediately. He does a disservice to them and medicine in general.

Dr. Wackowski treated a family member as a hospitalist at St. Francis Hospital. He appears not to care or evaluate the problem. Extremely rude and arrogant. Appears closed minded and does not listen. Will not return phone calls. He has no compassion. My view is that he is a discredit to the medical field and St. Francis hospital, and not sure why or how he still practices. I would not recommend him to anyone under any circumstance.

During a very difficult time for our whole family, Dr. Wackowski was rude, distracted, and showed very little interest. I expected a little compassion, especially since he is at St. Francis. He definitely doesn't follow their mission statement. :(

Dr. Wackowski saw us as a hospitalist. He was rude, condescending and unhelpful to say the least. He seemed to concentrate on if my child abused drugs and spent his entire time concentrating on toxicology. When all toxicology was returned as negative he then released her from the hospital with no diagnosis, apology or interest in her pain or well being. Due to health issues in my family we have seen numerous doctors in office settings as well as hospitals. I would not let this doctor touch my dog more less EVER have anything to do with the care of my family members or friends.
