Dr. O’Kinsella was rather rude, and when my daughter started crying about potential surgery he talked over me, as I was trying to console her, in a loud volume. I felt he was arrogant, rude and unsympathetic.

Dr. O'Kinsella seems to be under the impression that his patients are all a bunch of whiny dopes who know nothing about our own bodies and that his opinion alone--no tests needed!--will cure us. He's arrogant and seems to take pleasure in his power as a physician. I went to the urgent care clinic in Mt. Vernon because of a UTI. I was told to check back in a couple of days for the culture results, but it turns out they threw my sample away before the doctor told the lab to do a culture. Oops! In other words, he forgot. I took the sulfa drugs he prescribed, and the very first day noticed they made me feel strange, but kept taking them anyway in hopes that the symptoms would go away. Two days later my symptoms had gotten so bad that I couldn't keep taking them--diarrhea, loss of appetite, rapid heartbeat and terrible insomnia. Looked my symptoms up on Internet and, yes, sulfa drugs can cause ALL of those symptoms. Called clinic back to see if I could get different antibiotics prescribed, but no. Dr. O'Kinsella said he "wasn't sure" my symptoms were due to the sulfa drugs and would have to "see me" again before prescribing a different antibiotic. Really? I'm back up in Bellingham now, where I live; I just went to the urgent care clinic because I had been petsitting in the area and it was more convenient. After you neglected to have my urine sample cultured, what would seeing me in person do? I know my body and I can tell I'm reacting to the sulfa drugs--I'm very sensitive to medication, I've been me for 48 years, I DO know my own body. So my clinic in Bellingham had to fit me in on a Friday so I could continue a course of antibiotics to make sure this UTI is eradicated. Dr. O'Kinsella couldn't care less. He is arrogant, rude and ultimately careless and dangerous to the health of his patients, who are just easily dismissed dolts, in his mind. See review below, in which he misdiagnosed someone's leg infection, a potentially fatal misdiagnosis. He said they didn't have an infection, but gout, and refused to let his patient see the X-rays. If that person hadn't gotten a second opinion, they could have died. Way to go, Dr. O'Kinsella! But hey, at least you have all the power and that's all that matters, right?

Totally rude to my wife and I. Wife woke me from a sound sleep to say she had major pain in the right side of her chest, we rushed to the Urgent Care located in Mt Vernon on Freeway Drive and were greeted by a very nice receptionist then taken to a room where a friendly male nurse asked questions, my wife was taken to x-ray where another pleasant staff member took good care of her, minutes later in walks Mr Stacey O'Kinsella, he was very short with my wife and her concerns, he pointed to some portion of the x-ray and mumbled something about "upper respiratory, copd" then asked what pharmacy she used and left, all this took less than 5min total. Now my wife never goes to the doctor and was in shock the way this man treated her, they were not busy by no means, this guy just has no bedside manner. Also, you'll notice from the date on this it was during the holiday season, anyone with a heart says "Merry Christmas or Happy Holidays" If he reads up on these reviews he should remember Karma is something earned.

Saw this Dr. Who ordered X rays for a swollen and painful leg. He put me on blood pressure medication for swelling and said I had gout. When I asked for photo copy of the X-rays he told me it wasn't his field of study. Had to see my primary care Doctor within two days to find my leg was infected and I needed antibiotics. Could have been really bad for me. Now I get to pay for for his poor service. Don.t watch his on line video for skagit regional clinics you'll need novacaine.

Horrible experience. Waited 2 hours to see him in the small room for less than 5 minutes of his time. Was extremely rude to my child 6yrs old and extremely rude to me. Cut me off multiple times while I was trying to explain things and didn't let me finish asking questions. I'm dealing with a serious medical issue and I'm very concerned. I left m.v. urgent care in tears because of this so called doctor. I do NOT recomend him at sll. If he is on and only one there go somewhere else.
