Dr. Monkman was by far one of the best doctors I've ever had. Sad to see her leave the access downtown. She always listened and cared about what I had to say. I never felt rushed. AMAZING

At my first visit with Dr. Monkman, she did more for me than several doctors did over 4 years. I spent hours in ERs, and at numerous other doctor appointments, being told there is nothing wrong with me. After some blood work, Dr. Monkman called me outside of her clinic hours to explain what she believes my diagnosis is. She referred me to a specialist, and within two weeks I was formally diagnosed with what Dr. Monkman suspected by my endocrinologist. Dr. Monkman is very kind and gentle, she is understanding and intelligent. She is thorough and detailed. She is a very patient doctor, and never once made me feel like a burden to the medical system. Actually, she apologized to me for all of the struggles I went through from previous medical professionals. I am beyond grateful to have found her and hope I never have to find a new doctor.

She had no idea what was wrong with me. Didn’t call in other doctors instead left on holidays for 10 days. I spent time in icu no other doctors came to check on me. Only good thing that happened to me is she was gone the doctor that took over talk with the other doctors in Dauphin which came and talked to me. They decided to send me for an echocardiogram in Brandon. Thank god they did it was my heart. They put me on medication and things started to improve my friends that come to visit didn’t figure I would make the New Year well I did. This a few years ago but all she didn’t was give me puffers and oxygen. I ended up getting a different doctor but I had to fill out papers on her. Never ever her back from anyone. Thank god I got a good doctor. She was more interested in her new love.

Dr. Lisa Monkman missed diagnosed my uncle, and he died.

An excellent family doctor. Never made you feel rushed. Listened to you as you spoke. Allowed the patient to participate with medical decisions instead of just telling a patient what they need to do. Sad to see her leave the Dauphin area.

Dr. Monkman truly is an amazing doctor. She's incredibly attentive and caring. One of the only doctors I've ever had that actual listens when you're speaking to them and not starring at their computer screen. She really puts her patients first.

Seen her a few years ago in Swan River. Never had such an attentive and caring doctor. Used to seeing doctors who just brushed me off when raising issues about my reproductive health... She was wonderful .

She would not c me,after trying to c her at walk in, she refused to c me, I'm a student on disability trying to better my life, she strung me along from Thursday till following monday,I needed her signature for my student loan application,finally on Monday I went to clinic and talked to her staff ,I explained to them I was on a deadline to hand in form for funding. She left a message later that day to make an appointment with her at her other clinic,after her vacation. All of her staff endured me that getting a signature for this was no big deal. I just lost a third of my student grant due to her. Shame on her for not wanting to help people help themselfs
