Doctor is excellent. The lady that answers the phone is rude and unsympathetic.

I have been going to see Dr Schwalfenberg for many years. He has always seemed very knowledgeable and provided good advice throughout several injuries. I trust his expertise and he has often provided more sound advise vs. Specialists in the hospital, even requesting more extensive tests that then uncover a issue not highlighted before. His wait times are always 30+ minutes despite having an appointment, but worth the wait.

This doctor is rude and arrogant. You ask him a valid question and he tells you about himself and his family. He never prescribes the appropriate drug, never listens, only cares about billing as much as he can. He works in many senior facilities and neglects all his patients, who have no choice but to put up with him. AVOID this doctor if you actually want care!!

This doctor never listens nor does he have the best interest for his patients. We had to get second opinions and every time we went to a different with the same concern, this doctor was always wrong. If you been prescribed medication from this doctor, please don't use the meds and get a second opinion. He is an arrogant man with no bedside manner. He needs to be reported.

I've been a patient of Dr. S. since he started practicing, I'm estimating 35 years ago. I've always found him to be very caring & concerned about my health issues & my family's. He is very knowledgeable & is willing to consider alternatives to traditional medical care when traditional care isn't helping the patient.

If you have a recurring issue, every time you go to see him, it's like starting all over again. You need to consistently remind him of what you have previously tried, and he has a tendency to suggest claims with only anecdotal evidence from his career as a physician.

He is much more pleasant then his crotchety receptionist. She was rude and inappropriate to my family member on the phone. She needs to go. The doctor was only half listening and we left feeling that we had no answers to my mothers issue.

I have been a patient of Dr. Schwalfenberg almost as long as he has been in practice. He delivered both my children. He takes the time to be thorough. He takes family medicine seriously as a career and teaches it at the university. He takes a holistic approach to treatment and does not push medication unless it is absolutely required. A treasured memory is when he came out on a Saturday night to see my infant daughter with an ear infection. He is also connected to an after hours clinic for emergent situations that fall out of regular office hours.
