I am sure Dr Zabel excels at dealing with glaucoma and cataracts. Outside of these areas his thoroughness and knowledge are substandard.

Have been a patient for upwards of fifteen years. Have always found him to be personable, friendly, business like which suits me just fine. His receptionist has been the same. Both my cataract surgeries went fine, no issues. His use of latest current high tech equipment and what it can reveal is quite re-assuring as well.

thank you Dr. Zabel for fitting me in so quickly after my original doctor cancelled … it was a very quick procedure to fix cloudiness after cataract surgery 4 years ago, & the whole experience was very positive

A very quick procedure so not a lot of time to gain an impression but he seemed quiet, friendly and efficient. I liked him. Melanie from his office is a jewel and I hope he appreciates her.

I had my 1 week post -op cataract surgery visit with Dr. Zabel, as my cataract surgeon had to cancel due to other commitments. Dr. Zabel was very busy, but completed the post-op surgery check in an efficient and informative manner. My rescheduled post-op visit was completed with positive results, thanks to Dr. Zabel and his very organized staff !

Dr Zabel was my surgery dr. Excellent Dr. I was happy to be accepted by Dr. Zabel as his patient. His tea m also was excellent Coming to his office as ophthalmology patient is a experience with very good results and satisfaction.

I have been very satisfied with every visit to Dr. Zabel's office. He is quiet and thorough and always very professional. He has performed cataract surgery on both my eyes with great success. His office is run very efficiently by his assistant Melanie. She is always very pleasant and keeps the office running like clockwork. I highly recommend this practice.
