My comments are not directly for Dr Lew but the people he employs to pick up the phone. I have had Dr Lew for 8 plus years but as of today no more. I was recently in a motorcycle accident, I am seeing a orthapedic surgeon here in Puyallup but wanted a second opinion from someone I trust. But I never made it past the $8 an hour young woman who picked up this morning. She started off with an attitude from go. Then I was told I would have to pay a $150 deposit before I could see anyone because I was in a M.V.A. Forget I have other Doc's now and mentioned that, or that I have primo Blue cross/Blue shield. Nasty, rude and like a broken record this hourly kid was. All the years, well check ups, physicals no more pal. I remember a nurse there some years ago complaining about loss of business. Well, here goes one more solid paying patient. Good life and remember we make our luck by who we chose to represent us. R.Sullivan

I have sen Doctor Lew for a couple years now including a physical. I have not had a problem with him at all. His staff seem friendly and proffesional. I have not had a major ailment beyond normal viruses and concerns, but he always seems friendly and helpful. Good eye contact, direct. Not pressing or in too much of a rush. I am sorry others have had bad experences.I would recomend his office, staff and peers.

Arthur is ok if you have a cold, flu or anythign run-of-the-mill. I find him difficult to talk to and glazes over when you try to self-diagnose "I think it may be this based on what I read on WebMD", I am sure no doctor likes to hear that but it can help to narrow things down. He's quick to refer to a specialist, in my past cases. It's like pulling teeth to get a referral to someone you want to go to (I needed one for my chiropractor and he never did give one forcing my co-pay to quadruple rednering me unable to visit as often as I need). I am not a fan of the Valley Medical staff, they all seem to be pretty 'put-out' when you call to ask a simple question. When I had to get a refill of a narcotic pain-killer they made me come in to see the doctor again before re-filling then he told me I didn't need to and just call in... was a waste of my time and co-pay.

He is HORRIBLE!! Looked at me like I was strange when I had MAJOR health issues. He would not send me to a specialist which I asked for and diagnosed me with anxiety when I had a major injury. WATCH OUT AND AVOID THIS DOCTOR!!
