My experience with Dr. Pickering was excellent. I found he showed empathy and compassion and listened to both myself and my ex when determining what was best for our children. He developed a plan that put my kids needs first while having regard for all involved. Would highly recommend

I am not surprised that bad comments are being erased. I could not believe that a doctor exists in this field who cannot do simple math.
Dr. Pickering, you either need to be held accountable for the crimes you have done to innocent people.

He’s outstanding in high conflict situations. Represented both sides well and set us up for success so we didn’t need him anymore.

What I’m seeing from most of these ratings echo my family’s experience with this supposed doctor. Got a lot of our money as he never worked to resolution after a full year of dealing with the divorce and major child issues, we did the same as others are reporting and found another counsellor who’s been great. Pickering will draw out your time forever with no helpfulness — that’s money we didn’t want to continue.





I would never recommend this psychologist after the damage he did to our 8-year. -old just trying to cope with our divorce. Pickering actually made things worse. Not what we needed and certainly not worth the money we paid him. Found a better counsellor who our child actually likes!

He lacks professionalism, is wildly inefficent and misogynistic. The amount of time wasted during sessions, at a premium cost, were a dissapointment and only led to futher setbacks and solutions. The progress was so minimal, it was not worth the time or money so save yourself the frustration and go anywhere else! He is not qualified to work with women or children. Look up his degree, it is it even real??

I had several sessions with Greg Pickering over twenty years ago and couldn't speak more highly of him. I now have some issues that I need to deal with and thought I'd check to see if he was still practicing. He is!!! Then I read some of the reviews...uh. While I'd hardly judge anyone else's experience, I must offer a counter for those who may be
searching for a really good clinical psychologist. I'm going to be setting up an appointment soon with every expectation that his empathy, expertise and professionalism will have only increased during the years since I've met with him. I look
forward to his help!

Few years back I had to go with my abusive father and step mom, Pickering didn’t listen to anything me and my sister were saying and kept trying to make it as though my father and step mother were great and was very dismissive when it came to my mom. For home visits he showed up early to my dads with coffees and when he showed up at my moms he was very late and empty handed. Considering me and my sister told him everything that went on at my dad and even diagnosed me and my sister with an anxiety disorder, yet he still forced me and my sister to sit in a closed room with both my abusive step mother and father which caused me to have a panic attack. He doesn’t listen to the children. Any other psychologist/councillors would be better then him.

This doctor is a bully and does not comprehend fair parenting. He is extremely bias against females and does not put the best interest in mind for all parties involved when is comes to making parenting plans. Very big waste of money to just be demeaned on an hourly rate.

Completely out of touch. Doesn't care for the actual details or reality of the people before him; uses templates for generic plans without detail or with other people's info; forgetful and negligent with responding to issues even on his own imposed timelines; doesn't listen to the actual people in front of him (either side), constantly getting names and details wrong. Absolute waste of money. Made the conflict worse and zero resolution. Save your money and your situation and seek help elsewhere
