Dr Reid was my doctor before he retired. I cried when he told me. I miss him and Linnea and if you’re reading this, come visit me on Pender Island and let’s catch up. Hope you’re well!

He has retired and transferred recently me to his former student. He is a great doctor and saves my life I can say. Even he followed my blood and other test and informed me what to do, when my own physicians and others doctors also got, never bothered to call me. His secretary is a great friendly lady. Of course, people with no education or bad behavior will be the problem. He talked about the situation of our country(me south Asian) and he knows very well because he is British and have been in South Asia and he also helps children charity in the 3rd world. He is very friendly with humor and many probably do not understand due to lack of education or language barrier. he is good with electronic paper management and proficients with the computer that helped him to know your medical history very well. Miss him

I was fortunate to see Dr. Reid in 1991 and he diagnosed my Psoriatic Arthritis. Dr. Reid has always been patient and explained every step of the progression of my PA . Over the years Dr. Reid has shown incredible patience and compassion. As for office staff...Linnea is wonderful helpful and caring.
When I had my total knee replacement he was one of the first to call to see how the surgery went. Dr. Reid has always been thoughtful, knowledgeable and courteous. As my disease has progressed, the various medications have been increased but only to the effective level. Dr. Reid has been one of the first Doctors to reach out if any of the tests are out of the norm and brings in additional Specialists when required.

I had one of the very, very best examinations and conversation I've ever had with a doctor. And his assistant is simply the best of the best. Honestly.

Saw Reid a couple decades ago. He was rude, impertinent short tempered and would not let me explain the symptoms I was experiencing. I knew I had Lupus as autoimmune D. runs in the family & I had been doing enough research in mixed connective Tissue D.for a couple of decades. Finally got an appointment in 2017 with a proper Rheumatologist thad a confirmed diagnosis of MCTD / Lupus diagnosis. Throughout my appt. with reid all he would do is jump in with a statement "YOU DON'T HAVE LUPUS". He questioned nothing and no physical exam. I would not rate him even with a single star. Now I have brain cancer as he didn't question my continuously elevated Ferritin levels Rating, less than 0

Dr Reid can seem intimidating when you meet him, but he’s just thinking...he’s an excellent doctor, great, wonderful and caring. He’s also brilliant!

I found Dr Reid to be frightening. He was my mother's rheumatologist for decades. She started seeing him since he first became a rheumatologist and she used to rave about how helpful and conscientious he was. However, he became rude and cruel so I had to come to her appts with her. Eventually I had to have her change doctors. This was a several years ago. My mother was fortunate at the time that she had a caring and competent family doctor and me to advocate for her which ended up saving her life.

I have been seeing Dr Reid for approx 15yrs had seen a different Rheumatologist and all he did was tell me how much my chemo treatments cost. Went to see Dr Reid and he immediately got Xrays done and discovered that my right wrist was in bad shape and immediately got me in for surgery for it. Then he discovered over time that my left shoulder was just as bad and he got me into see Dr Regan who then replaced my shoulder. I'm have been so lucky to have such great Dr's.

I have also been seeing Dr Reid for over 20 years. For the past 8 years my RA has been in remission, luckily for me, but now it has reappeared. Seeing Dr. Reid again after this long hiatus was like seeing an old friend again. I have nothing but positive comments about him. I agree with the previous reviewer that you are very fortunate if you are referred to him.
