Doesn't even do surgery anymore. Just writes reports for lawyers...and takes as much money as he can from the system, without actually practising medcine. This doctor is an example of why the system is broken. I wasted my time.

Saw Dr. Hu in 1993 did a triple fusion which took care of my leg pains as well worked till 2012 when I saw him in Calgary for a decompression surgery. He's very professional; compassionate; as well as knowledgeable! I'd refer my own blood to him if needed. Thanks Dr. Hu.

In 2005 & 2006 I had spinal surgery. I was very fortunate to have Dr. Hu as my surgeon. He is amazing and truly the best!

Dr Hu was very forthright while explaining my spinal condition and what needed to be done. I appreciated that he was frank about the positive and negative effects the surgery would have. He was quick to answer questions and never gave me the impression he was impatient with me.

Dr Hu was hired by my group insurance co to perform an IME (independent medical evaluation). I have spondylolisthesis. Dr Hu was very thorough and very kind with an easy bedside manner. He offered to be my Dr even though his medical evaluation was initiated by G.I.. I have seen him recently as I'm having new problems. He is very invested on finding a solution to my problems without surgery as this would only exacerbate my issues. I have total faith in Dr Hu even though we are still searching for the cause of my increased pain.

Pretty useless now. Doesn't perform surgery and is a hack for lawyers. Not sure why he is still part of the assessment process at Caleo.

Dr. Hu is a life saver. After living with pain for over 7 years I saw Dr. Hu and within a matter of weeks I had no more pain and remain that way to this day. He is a blessing as are his staff. I am so thankful for all he/they have done.

Dr.Hu did a double fusion on me 14 yrs. ago and the results were commendable , I need another surgery and he will be the first to do it !

Excellent doctor. Competent and patient. Considerate of elderly patients; concerned about their quality of life. Helped my father immensely -- performed spinal surgery on an 83 year old man with no hesitation. Great demeanor.
