Dr. Sherman is polite, however the office staff are atrocious. The front desk girl repeatedly calls me "sweetie", or "hunn" (even though I've asked her not to) as if I was a child, or simple. There have been numerous times that I've not been acknowledged after signing in (for hours), and I've never gotten out of the office in under 2.5 hrs (average). There has been many times, after waiting 1-2 hours, I still had to reschedule my appointment because they could not see me. If MD is out delivering a baby, patients are never told. One medical assistant in particular has often treated me in a condescending, lofty manner on the phone in a triage situation, & has argued with me more than once. Lori is great, but frazzled & over worked to the Nth degree. It takes forever to get a RCB from the office. Although her skill as a surgeon isn't lacking, I've had 2 surgeries that a UTI was found on both pre-op labs & the pre-op RN has told me that Dr. would not treat it - but surgery was done anyway.

I LOVE Dr. Sherman and Lori. Lori was my main poc for most of my pregnancies but Dr. Sherman was there to deliver both my babies. They went through a lot with me and I appreciate everything they did. I love the office personnel and I always felt welcomed. I will most definitely use Dr. Sherman if and when I have a third child as well as my future annual checkups.

Used her for years until my horrific surgery, when she nearly killed me. Couldn't sue since the laws of malpractice are very hard to win unless you are DEAD! Would never let her do another surgery on me again or come near my daughter. Find another doctor people if you need surgery.

Dr. Sherman has been my doctor since my first pap at age 18, and I would never go to another doctor. Her staff and her are amazing and are well worth the wait. I have never been rushed in or out of an appt and Dr. Sherman is great at taking her time and making you feel like an important patient. The staff has always been honest with me every time I arrive about the wait time and Dr. Sherman is always quick to apologize about the wait. Dr. Sherman has been there for every step of my pregnancy which is very important since it is my first child. Her and her staff have been nothing but amazing with making my appointments answering my questions and always giving me great information. I have never seen Lori throughout my 5+ years of being at this practice, but I am sure if she is anything like Dr. Sherman than she is just as sweet, friendly, and caring. I am very pleased with the care I have received and have highly recommended her.

I've been seeing Dr. Sherman for about 17 years. I've seen her and Lori many times. They are both very knowledgable and friendly. They both take their time with you and make sure to answer any questions you might have. Dr. Sherman delivered both of my girls. She is an amazing doctor. I would recommend anybody to go see her. There is usually a wait, but it is worth it.

I have to agree with the negative responses. I have never felt more unwelcomed at any Doctors Office. They are horrible about returning calls. It is discouraging especially when you are facing something serious and need some reassurance about a procedure. I should have taken these comments posted about the quality of care serious. And maybe I would not be facing this upcoming procedure today if more time was taken to look at my overall health, past surgeries and meds. Lori is sweet. But she can't be all things and it not affect her performance in areas that she is suppose to focus on. As for Dr. Sherman, I have only seen her one time so I can not comment on her quality of care. But I would say to any women seeking and OB/GYN to look elsewhere. I just don't know what to expect anymore from healthcare.

Lori, the PA, and Tara, the girl who sets you up for your next appointment, are both wonderful. I think they are going through some front desk staff changes bc I haven't seen the check-in girl with a negative personality in a while. If that's the case, I'm looking forward to a friendlier experience upon checking in. As for Dr. Sherman herself, as long as you don't care that you won't see her at every visit you'll be fine. She is knowledgeable, experienced, and smart. I appreciated her input as the last weeks of my pregnancy drew to a close. And I absolutely thought she was fantastic at my delivery. It wasn't an easy delivery, yet she was persistent, a great coach, and did not just give up and go for a c-section after we encountered some difficulties. I'll definitely use her again when it's time for round two! You should know that she is incredibly well respected and sought after at St. Joe's, too. The staff in labor/delivery cannot say enough kind things about her.

Dr. Sherman has been my Dr. for a couple years. I have only seen her once and that was the last visit before i had my daughter. I saw Lori the other times and i can saw she is amazing. The entire reason I left the office is due to the TERRIBLE and I mean TERRIBLE staff. They are so rude and unprofessional. Dr. Sherman isn't the best. She delivered my daughter, as soon as I was all stitched up she left the room unannounced and I didnt see her again until she cleared me for discharge. Once again HIGHLY UNRECOMMENDED
