I had a good experience with this doctor. Sent me to have an MRI of my knees and spine and realized my knee problem was coming from my spine and not my knee. Sent me to a pain clinic who I had an epidural which healped greatly.

The worst medical experience of my life -- literally! He performed a surgery (lateral release) that he never fully explained until after I woke up in the recovery room. I thought I was just having my cartilage smoothed out. In my opinion, it basically ruined my mobility. Prior, I was very fit, in the gym 5 times per week, etc. I was immediately worse after surgery than before, and I never recovered. Now, six years after surgery, I have arthritis in the knee, I struggle with simple exercise and I have gained nearly 20 pounds. Once he found that I was not getting better, he made himself very scarce. I will likely struggle with this for the rest of my life.

Great for my knees. He is on time, even when 'he fits you in'. He has helped me avoid surgery. He knows about what's new in the field and tells me ahead of time what's coming down the pike and if it might help or not (then uses it when it's proven). His staff is great and works with you. He is out of my network, but I end up going to him anyway because the in network doctors just want to go straight to surgery which I don't want. His prices are very reasonable. He also wrote the book on knees. I have gone to him for years (because of the type of injury I have I have to see someone regularly) and have never been disappointed.
