Dr. Shalvoy is a great surgeon. He is incredibly knowledgeable, punctual, attentive, and his bedside manner is unmatched. You can tell he genuinely cares about his patients and their recovery. I would highly recommend!

University Orthopedics and Miriam Hospital are a well coordinated team. During my knee replacement everyone did their job like a professional. They can be likened to the New England Patriots. The Shalvoy staff will support you. They put you in a positioned to succeed. It is up to you to take advantage of your surgery and their support. If you work with them, you will not be dissapointed.

Absolutely great doc. Had two procedures done by him with great outcomes. I can't say enough good things about his compassion, caring, attentiveness, and surgical skills. In spite of his busy schedule, he will spend time with you. I never felt rushed. His PA, R.Peloquin, is top draw. Would highly recommend him to anyone.

Dr. Shalvoy is an excellent doctor. He came highly recommended from people my wife and I know, who had successful surgeries. If I had another injury within his specialty area, I would definitely go back to him. Have your questions ready. He is very attentive, yet very busy. If you can't reach him later, his partner Dr. Peloquin is very good at getting back to you and answering any questions. The physical therapy unit is very modern, in a new building. The whole thing (except the surgery) is in one building.

Dr. Shalvoy did my ACL surgery. I am an athlete and had never had surgery before in my life. I was very nervous but Dr. Shalvoy did everything he could to make me feel comfortable. He did a great job with my knee, my recovery is going very well and I have had no complications. He is a great doctor and very personable.
