I have been seeing Dr. Boretsky for 10 years. She is very nice and competent, but often rushed, late and distracted. Her front office staff seem to be very stressed.

Appointments are not complete. Even though you have been taken the same medication with or without any physical or psychological changes she will continue to prescribe it. In 8 years she was my attending physician, in that time I only received one physical exam. I have now spent over $4000.00 in five weeks including 4 days in emergency care at Lakeshore general hospital to correct the many problems caused by Dr. Boretsky. You only find out there are problems with a doctor's methodology when you see specialists within that field, in my case it is major depression. Many physical tests were never performed nor were different medications tried. My last encounter with Dr. Linda Boretsky was a very unpleasant one. The last time I saw Dr. Boretsky was to pick up my medical file because she had dropped me as a patient. I said to her the medication she prescribed was no longer working, I don’t know if she understood or even cared for that matter how I was feeling; although I do know how agitated I was due to of the lack of assistance I was receiving by the front staff and the Medistat clinic.

I thought she was a very good family doctor, little did I realize how wrong I was. After 8 years treating me for depression she dropped me as a patient without me knowing WHY. I now can not find a family doctor to take me on as a patient to help me with my medication she prescribed, which is no longer working for me. I was asked simply to always come to the walk in clinic when required, be seen by some unknown doctor that would help me. This of course will never be the same doctor as we all know. Even if I try to go to another walk in clinic they will not attend to me because my medical file is with Medistat. Medistat will not even give me a copy of my file so I can see another doctor elsewhere; they will only give it to my family doctor???? Imagine. Thank you for treating me in such a great fashion. She is NOT a good family doctor.

Amazing, very patient, and takes the time to listen to you. The staff at the front are another story! They are so rude to the patients. I cannot understand how the doctors let them treat people like they do. They have no patience at all, with anybody.

Dr. Boretsky is a very sympathetic doctor that takes the time to listen to me and is genuine in wanting to help!! I feel very comfortable with her. The support staff at the front desk is rude at times, yelling out to people in the waiting room, and talking loudly about people's personal conditions, where everybody could hear.
