I had the pleasure of being Dr. Myles patient from very early in his career, when he was at Grace Hospital. As a young man with Glaucoma I was concerned but this amazing Doctor set my mind at ease and for the next 30 years I received his dedicated care. He last did my cataracts before retiring. I hope he is enjoying live with his wife five beautiful children. Thank you Dr Myles, big shoes to fill, I start another new ophthalmologist in a couple of months, I’ll be looking for your expertise and your compassion. Dr. Myles operated on both of my eyes in 2020. He has been treating my Glaucoma since 2019. He is an excellent Ophthalmologist, very professional, caring and with a sense of humour. As he teaches at the University of Ottawa, he keeps up with new knowledge in Ophthalmology. I feel fortunate and blessed to have been treated by Dr. Myles.

Dr. Myles is an excellent ophthalmologist. His staff are always very friendly and pleasant to deal with. I couldn’t have asked for a better doctor to take care of my glaucoma and cataracts. I am very lucky to have him as my doctor. He is very knowledgeable, caring, and even has a sense of humour what more could a patient ask for. I highly recommend him.

I can’t express in words the pleasant experience I have had with Doctor Michael Myles, he is so knowledgeable and caring, it seems that he is always very busy but he is a gentleman, he made me feel like I was the only patient there, he took the time to explain everything in detail about the different options for the cataracts surgery, so that I felt very confident in making the decision of Monovision. The whole process was an amazing experience, I have to express my gratitude not only to him but to their charming assistants at his office, and to the Eye Care Center staff at the Ottawa Hospital.
