This doctor is the "poster-child" for rude doctors. I wonder how he manages to have any patients, given how disrespectful and demeaning he is! Patients go to the doctor because they are suffering. To have this man add to their suffering by being so unpleasant is unacceptable.

I was completely frustrated with Dr. Garb, he was rude, talked down to me and acted as if he could care less about my situation. I am a smoker and working with my primary physician on a program to quit. When he found out I smoked, he rolled his eyes, shook his head at me and did not even want to look at me. He told me I needed surgery and made it sound like what I was doing to quit was not enough. The problem was not due to smoking and instead of trying to work with me he talked down to me and ended up making me cry. He is not understanding at all and acted like he only wanted to put me down, not tend to my problem. If you are a smoker, don't make the mistake of going to Dr. Garb

What a nightmare this office is. Dr. Garb himself is fine. He did a great job fixing my problem but given a choice I'd never go back to this office again. Even with insurance they nickel and dime you to death. Be warned that if you have surgery they will make you pay before hand but will take their time getting a refund to you. They also made me go offsite to get a CT scan done even though they have a machine there. When I came back for it to be read they charged me an additional co-pay. Just because they didn't have someone there to do the scan that day, I am forced to pay extra? Their billing department cannot have less of a heart. They use the word policy over and over and just try to rush you off the phone. I'd say if you are going to have surgery with this office, DON'T pay before. If they owe you a refund they will not rush to get it to you. Again, the Dr. is fine, but the rest of the staff is awful.
