I scheduled an appointment with Dr. Newkirk as I had an ultrasound done by my regular physician and needed a needle aspiration for a biopsy. I sent my test results to him in advance. He seemed very kind and knowledgeable; I was impressed by him at the appointment. He said he needed my CD scan, and I had it sent to him within one week. He had the scan for over 3 weeks telling me that he couldn't open it. It makes no sense to me that he would tell me that--why not call my doctor who did the test? Why not have IT people at the hospital open it? Much wasted time and unacceptable service. He asked me to come to Georgetown to do the test again. I was not going to do that so I had them send the scan back to me. This experience is unbelievable to me; I thought that Georgetown Hospital was one of the best--this certainly was NOT acceptable.

Can't say enough good things about Dr Newkirk. He's a wonderful doctor.
