I have had multiple surgical procedures, some of which have been very complicated.
Dr Paprosky always reviews X-rays with my me and my husband, and explains findings and proposed treatment thoroughly. He answers questions without making you feel rushed. His PA Jennifer is outstanding!! I highly recommend this physician!!

Dr. Paprosky did my total knee replacement on the right side on Wednesday. They had me on my feet that day, and going home the next day. By Friday, I was dressing myself, getting in and out of bed, going to the bathroom, and even walking the 50+ yard trek to the mailbox and back (with a cane)! Dr. Paprosky and his staff made sure that every step was discussed and every precaution taken. At the time of this comment, I am 6 weeks post-op and my pain level is about a 3 on a 1-10 scale. Everything is healing quite well and I can bend that knee to 116 degrees! This group of people have made things so much better for me. The other knee will need to be done soon, and you know who I'm going to for that!

The only good thing I can say about him is that he refused to put in a metal on metal hip implant. I saw a different fellow every time I came in other than the original consult to do the surgery. He says he did the actual surgery and others closed but, I doubt he did more than observe he did so many that day. I had post surgical pain, muscle weakness, and limp ( 2inch MI posterior) I only saw his face when he looked in from the door in the hospital, post vists was more of the same different fellows not even the one who did the surgery, Had to insist on seeing Dr. P, Last time I saw him he answered his cell phone and walked out of the room leaving me with another fellow who led me to the door...Quantity over Quality ( when you call a Dr. Practice and the second item on the phone menu is Fellowship applications Run...

Dr. Paprosky is an outstanding physician and surgeon. His fellows are outstanding as well. Although my knee got infected after the initial replacement surgery, and I had to have two additional surgeries, I would do it all over again. He is a miracle worker.

I had lots of pain and stiffness in my right hip and left hip. In January I had surgery for a total hip replacement for my left hip and in June I had my right hip replaced. By September, I can honestly say I am so pleased with the outcome of having no pain and being able to have my life back again. It is so great to be able to enjoy each day now painfree! Dr. Paprosky is a very helpful kind doctor and is so competent at his field! I would highly recommend him!!

I saw Dr Paprosky at the initial appointment. And 2 days after, he came into my room, said 10 rude words to me and turned and walked out. He did not even speak to my husband after the surgery. I only talked to the fellows despite much pain and problems after. Finally a broken femur was diagnosed and one of his partners operated on that. I was much more satisfied.

I won't see anyone else for problems with a hip replacement. He is the most informative.

An amazing experience. 2 weeks post op I was at target walking with one cane. Actually less than 2 weeks. Staff at Cdh were incredible. Best hospital experience I've ever had.The fellow working under paprosky were amazing. This dr. Is the best. Granted I am only 48, I would go back to paprosky is a heartbeat. I waited 2 hours to see him on my first visit, it was worth every second.

Dr.Paprosky replace my knee in 2001, and I have not had any problems or pain since.

Dr. Popratzky is tops in my book! Hip replacement back in 10/2008 went great and continues to be pain-free, high quality of life for me as I near my 59th birthday!
