Dr. Muilli was a God-sent gift to me. I waited a year to have my medical documents transferred to his hospital based on the recommendation of 3 different doctors. He operated on my back. The first surgery -by another surgeon- failed horribly. I have dealt with several specialists, and Dr. Muilli doesn't go around the bushes to clarify the pros and cons of a procedure. Yes, he can be harsh with his staff, -he demands 100% of everybody just as he gives 110% of himself- but I am happy for that as I was treated with the out most respect and promptness by everybody. I am so very happy with the results of my surgery. My spinal cord might have metal in it, but oh God, the pain I used to go through is gone; I don't have to drug myself to sleep. There were side effects to my surgery but HE explained everything to me; he made it clear that this surgery would require a lot of physical therapy and I accepted it. He was right! I am so much better because of him. THANK YOU DR. MUILLI.

- On 9/12/2000 I had a stroke at 19 years of age due to an unknown underlying medical condition. In addition, I had a mastoid infection that was running directly next to and up to the blood clot located in my sigmoid sinus. It was Dr. Miulli who found the blood clot, the infection, and did it all fast enough that there were very little permanent side effects. In addition, afterwards he took very good care of me and never treated me like I was below him or couldn't understand him. As a matter of fact, he is one of the only doctors in 12 years to recognize that I was intelligent enough to understand the entire situation. He made sure I had sufficient knowledge to protect myself from rare yet serious side effects. And 12 years later, that is very important to me, as one such complication has arisen. As a matter of fact, that is why I found this rating system. I need a neurosurgeon and I wanted him again. Whether or not you are keen to his bedside manner, he is a very intelligent/careful dr

Lacks empathy and clinical knowledge. If you in lived in the Iowa area, you would know what I'm talking about. I'm not sure how he was able to get his license in California.
