Dr. William Hickling is a good physician, however he has a horrible bedside manner. I was told this before we went to visit. (Don't wear my feelings on my sleeves). He not very patient. It's like he's in the room but he not there! May be wearing to many hats!!!!

He has treated my son for years and has always been straight forward in his approach. He is a Neurological genius. Dr. Hickling looks at the overall patient and treats every concern. He is truely a great doctor and my son as well as the rest of the family think the world of him. I can't say enough good things about him.

Dr. Hickling was kind and patient with my 7 year old during an intense diagnostic period. I greatly appreciated his honest, direct manner, and his willingness to answer my questions. He treated me as an intelligent, well-informed equal (although I am by no means equal in his knowledge of neurology.) Although he did not candy-coat my son's diagnosis for the potential disabilities he will face, Dr. Hickling and his staff have come to be one of my child's greatest advocates while dealing with his special needs in school. Dr. Hickling's staff is fabulous; they are all so kind, helpful, and friendly. Dr. Hickling has a reputation of being a bit harsh in his approach, but please know that he is truly a great doctor/person to have on your side.

He's very knowledgeable but rather abrasive and abrupt in his communications.
