Horrible doctor. He did not write me a prescription for my seizure medication because he said it didn't matter what doctor actually wrote it. That doctor was in California, and of course stopped writing the prescription unless I came in for an appointment. Also, Terranova made no indication that he needed to see me again, even though I told him that I was going to try to get pregnant (and I'm no spring chicken). No thoughts on the subject, no concern or compassion for me or a potential baby. I got the feeling he was sick of his job, that it was mundane to him.

Worst doctor ever. No personality and no bedside manner. How he is licensed to still practice is beyond me. Having to see him in the hospital he was not only rude to me but my family as well. When the nurses noticed a difference in my medical situation and called him he stated I was being psychosomatic. Little did he know. I followed up with my own neurologist who disagreed with everything he said and took me off the mediation he prescribed. His partner is not any better she is more worried about how she dresses then seeing patients. When I had another issue and was rushed to the hospital and admitted he told me my mood appeared flat. Maybe that's because I don't like him and my doctor unfortunately did not practice at the hospital I was in. He spends maybe 2 minutes with you and makes ridiculous assumptions of people. He is rude and arrogant. I don't know how anyone would want to see him as a doctor. When people tell me they need to see a neurologist I tell them to run the other way if they even thought about seeing him. He needs to be reported and needs to stop practicing. He is one of the worst doctors ever!!!

Having had my first seizure, I was scared and unclear of the path that would be taken Doctor Terranova (and I use the term doctor loosely) came in to the hospital obviously in a hurry. He had little if any time to explain anything to me. I actually ran after him saying I had questions which remain unanswered. He ran from the room and answered a phone call. He never returned. He was the rudest "doctor" I have ever encountered. His bedside manner and rush to run from the room had me unsure of even the diagnosis. He gave me a prescription which he said to take. When I asked of side affects or what I should watch for, he told me I was stressed and left the room. Well that pill had me at toxic levels within days and back to see another true DOCTOR. I have never felt so strongly that I have ever wrote a rating or felt the need to. Clearly someone needs to say something. Make a clear choice for yourself and do NOT choose this man. If I can save anyone from the disrespect and rude behavior , then this review was well worth it.

All around terrible. I have never met a Doctor, IN A HOSPITAL, that was as rude as him. He had NOT time for my friend, nothing of any importance to say, was in such a hurry did not even ask or allow questions. Prescribed a drug that almost had my friend back in the hospital in a toxic situation, and RAN out of the room. Rude, no bedside manner and totally full of himself. The person in the bed next to my friend had gone to him about a possible stroke, he told her not was not and IT WAS!!!!!! He should have his practicing license revoked. I would NOT EVER recommend this doctor to anyone, RUN the other way.

I started off seeing this doctor when he was located in southeastern NJ 14 years ago. He moved to hammonton,I followed him. He moved to manahawkin, I followed him and the 1 hr and 1/2 drive to him. He is the best doctor I have ever been to. I wish he was my general doc so I could be able to be confident with all my doc visits. He personalizes the appointment and I actually find myself excited to go to the doctor. He explains everything thouroughly and always makes sure that I understand everything fully and answers any questions I ever have. If I ever ask for more info on anything, he looks into it right away and lets me know right then. His staff are incredible as well. No matter if I call or arrive in person, they are friendly, personal and just so caring. Having been going to see him for over a decade, I know I can count on everyone in his office and especially Dr. Terranova himself. I wouldn't trust any other health care professional as much as I do him and his staff.

When I went to this Dr he seemed empathetic and actually acted like he cared. He ensured me that he would help get the MRI approved (and in his words "an MRI is long over due"). According to him and his tests that he did in his office, I have nerve damage in my neck and lower back, whcih is leading to carpal tunnel, and sciatica. They submitted for authorization for the MRI, and now won't help get it approved. Its as simple as the Dr. or someone on his staff getting on the phone with NIA (the auth company for my ins) and reading the illegible notes, and they will not do it. I spoke with the auth company, they even called the office this morning! You would think she would just read it. NO! The lady (Robyn) that does pre-certs called ME and tried telling me that they Dr thinks I should see a pain management DR(which I've already done)and said its best to get injections.WITH NO MRI UH NO THANKS!! THANKS FOR NOTHING AND LYING, HE SAID HE SAID HE WOULD HELP HES A LIAR!!!!!!!!!!
