great doctor, helpful, kind but honest. so far, I like her better than any of the other ones I have tried. I would recommend her

I love Dr. A. I have been seeing her for a long time and trust her judgment. When she left the County practice and went to Generations I moved with her! She is helpful even with non-gyno issues, she remembers you even when it's been a long time in between visits. I would definitely recommend her to anyone.

I am having my 1st child and decided to take a chance on Dr. Aversa and her team. I am not sure if it's because of the practices' recent merging, but the service was very poor. Although they were somewhat nice, the organization and efficiency is terrible. I made my 1st appointment at the Hamden office and it was RUSHED! I did not get an opportunity to ask any questions of the recent articles I have read - what I should or should not do - it was a very short and unpleasant meeting (Dr. Aversa kept looking at her watch!) she then told us that we would be able to ask all of our questions on our next meeting. Well the next meeting came and we waited for 1 hr. and 20 minutes AND she was not at the Hamden office - she was scheduled to be at another office. I had no prior knowledge and I wasn't even aware that the second meeting was blood work. There was no communication. Not to mention that I did not receive one phone call reminder for any appointments. Thoroughly disappointed

I have been with Dr. Aversa since 2006. She is very good doctor, kind and nice. She listens and care . She can answer all of my questions and has patient.

i absolutely do not recommend her. she is short tempered, impatient, does not listen to her patients, and has a superiority complex. please - save yourself the heartache she has caused me and look for another physician
