I was so fortunate to have Dr. Power perform both of my emergency stone surgeries this year. He took so much time to help me and my family understand the procedures. Very thorough, and his bedside manner is great, always meeting me with kindness and understanding. Having kidney stones has been an extremely challenging and painful experience, but having Dr. Power as my urologist made this process smoother for my family and I, and I would recommend him over and over. Thank you Dr. Power.

I was so fortunate to have Dr. Power perform the surgery on my kidney. Right from my initial visit with him he explained in detail what procedure was to take place and kept me informed before and after my surgery. He even came in to see me on his day off after his 24 hour shift to perform another procedure that I required, as this scheduled surgeon had another emergency call. He is such a caring and compassionate physician.

I've never written a review before but felt it was important after my experience this morning. I read all of the previous reviews before my procedure and had high hopes. Dr. Power does not disappoint. He took so much time to explain everything to me and answer all of my questions. He is even doing some follow up referrals for me and ordered extra tests even though the MRI results suggested this could be done by my family doctor. He went above and beyond in helping me and I've never felt so comfortable with a male doc despite the fact that my procedure was sensitive in nature. So many docs can take a lesson from his patience, kindness and helpfulness.

I took me three years to convince a Dr. to care that I was sick, and things just got worse and worse. Dr. Power has been the only one so far that believed me and took me seriously, and it means more than he knows.

Doctor Power performed emergency surgery to remove a blocked kidney stone. He explained everything to me in detail. I've never felt so safe and trusting with a physician as I did with Dr. Power. Within the first few minutes of meeting him his humanity and expertise were abundantly clear. I highly recommend him. He's one of a kind.

I have had the great fortune of having Doctor Power operate on me several times because of kidney stones. Each time it put into detail form what the procedure would consist of and what to expect. The nurses at the QCH absolutely love him. He keeps them well informed. His bedside manners are impeccable and he will not release you until he is 100% sure it is safe to do so. Maureen who runs the office is awesome. She really cares and returns emails and calls quickly. Doctor Power gets 5 thumbs up from me and my wife.
