Biography
Dr. Reithman has always been fascinated by the function and complexities of the human body. This led him to pursue a medical degree. His passion for obstetrics and gynecology was influenced by his mentors in medical school who helped him realize the fulfilling nature of specializing in the care of women and babies.Dr. Reithman strives for teamwork—both with patients and teammates—and looks forward to coming to work each day because it is an opportunity to get to know new patients, see returning patients and interact with his team. His interests include general obstetrics and gynecology and gynecological surgeries using the Vinci robotic system. In addition, he has a strong interest in fetal ultrasound, development and anatomy.Outside of medicine, Dr. Reithman enjoys volunteering as a math, chemistry and physics tutor—subjects that helped him grow his love of science and medicine. He is also a big sports fan. One of his favorite past times is keeping up with Ohio State football and basketball, the Cleveland Browns and Cincinnati Reds. He also enjoys working on landscape projects with his son and reading.My role as your doctor is to listen to your concerns and make sure you have all the information you need to make the right decisions about your health care. Whether your care requires preventive measures or interventions, such as medication or surgery, I will use my skill and experience to help you stay or become healthy.

Dr. Rethman delivered both of my children and I wish he could my third but they don’t except my insurance. He’s an amazing doctor very kind, gentle, patient and explained everything perfectly clear . I ended up having an emergency c-cection due to my daughters heart rate dropping during birth and everything went super smooth. Both of my c-cectiom cuts are beautiful and can barely be seen. I’m truly sad he won’t be delivering my third child “12” years later.
