I've had to see this doctor many time as a kid because of constant ear infections and having to get tubes put into my ears and don't remember much from then. I return back 15 years later for a deviated septum and he walks in and says "long time no see". He was super friendly and very helpful. Looked at my nose, saw what I have been struggling with, took a deeper look to make sure that's all that it is and then went on to explain next steps. He booked me in for a septoplasty, which was about a 5 month wait, but he put me on a wait list and called if there was any cancellations to get it done earlier. They called me, I had it done a month earlier. Procedure was great, follow up was great and he said that I shouldn't have any other issues as long as I be careful for the next while. He said if i'd like to come see him again, just call and i can go see him next week. 10/10 experience, so kind and helpful!

I was told by my family doc that I had no choice but to call my ENT because I lost hearing in my ear. What a nightmare.
1st call - you have to leave a message because nobody answers the phone. They call back and say, we can only put you on a cancelation list.
Okay fine. Please do.
My ear gets worse, I'm almost deaf completely. Call again, no answer, no call back.
This goes on for months. Very unprofessional, the way they treat you. You are juat a number and if you are lucky ml, you may get an apt.
It's now been 2 months and still no answer.
I ended up in emerge because I lost all of my hearing and my ENT didn't even care.

Shortly after a car accident over 3 years ago, wherein my left ear was impacted by an airbag deploying, I noticed a loss of hearing in that ear. My family doctor recommended I go to Elgin Audiology in London, where I live, for a hearing test. They did the tests and recommended that I see an ENT Specialist. On their report they noted that I was suffering from a “plugged feeling”and tinnitus and hearing loss in my left ear and would probably benefit from hearing aid(s). It took 3 years and as many referrals to finally get an appointment with an ENT specialist in Strathroy, a two hour round trip from home. I made the trip to see the specialist Dr Marc Real Raymond whose office is located in Strathroy General Hospital. His assistant performed basically the same test as I had at Elgin Audiology. Then Dr Raymond looked briefly my ear and told me that my eardrum was good, no damage. He told me that I had hearing loss and that I would probably need hearing aid(s) eventually. He recommended that I go to “Costco” for the aids as they were the cheapest in London. I had waited over three years to be told what I already knew. In his office is a sign which instructs patients not to ask any questions that are not exactly related to that which your referring doctor ordered. In other words, he is an ear, nose and throat doctor, but if you’re there for your ears, you can’t ask about your nose or throat or anything else. I did have related questions about my plugged ear, but he ignored these, basically waving them off with a flippant answer. After a 3 year wait I was allotted less than 5 minutes of his time and he hurried on to his next patient. I now have to try and find another, hopefully caring doctor to answer my concerns and solve the (related) problems I have, that he would not address.

I was in bed one night watching television on my cell phone, I rolled over and the screen did a lot of bouncing before settling to a normal picture. I made a Dr's appointment and after 3 days of this and nausea I seen Dr Raymond, I don't care for doctors to begin with, but he was nice to me, listened to all I had to say and even helped me learn to sit up and lay down properly after diagnosing me with vertigo. Now I need to see him again but am afraid I need a referral again as it's been well over a year now. I recommend his service to all that need it. He will answer all your questions. The office is clean and organized, the secretary is sweet and tries her best to get you in as soon as humanly possible. I always keep in mind, they are only human and can do only so much.

Was referred to Dr Raymond after suffering 16 years with non allergic sinusitis. Advised him of the lack of sleep, the constant sneezing and the lack of relief from sinus sprays. He looked at my sinuses and told me to live with it. He had no sympathy or empathy whatsoever. I almost gave up and listened to him until I heard of Dr Leigh Sowerby in London. He looked at my sinuses and noticed pulups that made it impossible for any nasal sprays to get to my sinuses. He performed surgery and I have been symptom free for over 9 years. I would never recommend Dr Raymond.

The Doctors assistant did a hearing test. I ask to have my ears cleaned. No reply. When I saw Doctor. Raymond. Nice person, but when I asked to have my ears cleaned. Answer NO, asked about a chronic cough. Answer NO. He is a Ears, Nose & Throat Doctor, but he doesn't do any of the above. Then he dimissed me as a patient.
