Dr. Fortin has been my doctor for about 10 years. Up to Covid, his office at Westmount Square was in-person only. However, since then he readjusted the services offering phone consultations, which is a blessing, saving a huge amount of time and parking fees. D Fortin's dedication surfaced once again recently when I suffered a bout of flu causing me severe breathing concerns. In addition to prescribing the proper medication, he personally called me three days in a row to make sure things were OK! I didn't expect that and it made me feel much safer.

He is very knowledgeable and will always investigate thoroughly if he's not sure about an issue or drug interaction.

Juggling between in-person and phone apts can be tricky and will make it so that he might not necessarily call at the exact time your apt was scheduled for. But in the end, it's a very small price to pay for an excellent service. I highly recommend Dr. Fortin.

This Dr is a piece of work. Awful. He should be removed as a Dr. He has poor judgment and gets it all wrong. Misdiagnosed my husband. Awful, awful.

Dr. Fortin has been my Gp for over 10 years .
Sometimes it was difficult to get an appointment with him and at times I had to wait past the time of my appointment, however I always got a consultation .
He listened to my problems and sent me for the proper treatments . In fact, the last time he saw me I feel he made a real difference in my health . He was there when I needed him the most.

Le docteur Fortin est un excellent médecin, il a une excellente écoute, il prend le temps de vous expliquer le pourquoi du comment, il a une vaste expérience, il connaît tout, s'il vous prescrit un nouveau médicament il prend le temps de vérifier la concordance avec les médicaments que vous prenez déjà. Il a une agréable personnalité on peut même rire avec lui à l'occasion. Pour moi, c'est le médecin idéal et j'espère le garder pour un très long temps.

This is the worst experience I have had with a doctor.

You'd think you are trying to get a hold of Elon Musk just to get an appointment with this guy. He is my MD and for me to get a call back Ive called over 10 times and left numerous messages, this all over the span of a week. His clinic has no email address so the only way to book an appointment is by phone, which is never picked up because out of the 10 times i've called, I have not spoken to 1 person. After the automated messages, you directly go on hold, no ring, no pick-up, nothing. I've waited on hold for up to 2 hours before deciding to hang up. After a a half dozens of email, and a threatening message through Linked-in to the president of the west mount square medical group, I finally got a call back from I couldn't even tell you who statin that I absolutely need to come in person for this, and the only available time slots are mid day, whats better than a day off you say? Missing a paid day at work because your doctor messed up your prescription and is only available at 2 pm.

Now here is the real issue, I went to Dr. Fortin with an infection , which he prescribed antibiotics for but after taking all of them over the span of the week, my infection is still present. With walk in clinics being almost inexistent in Montreal for some reason, he is my only option but clearly, he's not an option. I do have to say tho, if your gonna get ready for a competition of some sort and need to get yourself rilled up and angry, try getting a hold of this guy, it will l get your blood boiling.

Worst staff and doctor possible - do not return calls. You are better off going to a medical clinic than trying to make an appointment with Dr.Fortin thru his staff.

He simply does not care. he wants to make sure you come in and out as fast as he can discharge you with some prescription and exams that he never follows up.
