My wife & I are both truly glad to have Dr George Leon as our primary care physician. When we were 1st referred to Dr George Leon we were advised to not allow the wait time to dissuade us, & without that advice we may have become so impatient that we would have missed out on a truly good doctor.

This guy is very knowledgeable, but also caring & engaged with his patients. His staff is likewise engaged & good, especially his medical assistant, Maria.

I have had severe digestion issues virtually my entire life & GI doctors & others often ran test & prescribed meds but I never found any semblance of relief. Dr George likewise tested, but also invested time asking me questions & listening to my answers. He ultimately referred me to a nutritionist & I learned that many foods that were regular parts of my diet were my enemies. As simple as this sounds, some of the highest rated specialist in both the DC & Baltimore metro areas never came close to helping me find relief. I am nearing 70 & have been seeing specialists since my youth. Thank you Dr George Leon.

Dr Leon has helped both my wife & me with other chronic health challenges & we feel that his knowledge, his genuine caring about his patients, along with his willingness to not rush through his appointments, are all major parts of what makes him a very successful family practitioner.

He is also in my wife’s words “crazy fun”. He is very good & also very funny. Anyone who does not have patience may miss out on a really. Good doctor. Dr George Leon is a medical gem.

Waste of time! His normal wait is 2.5-3.5 hrs! His staff thinks the world of him, and I will agree he spends time with his patients, but it's so much that it's beyond rude to those waiting. This is my second appointment and 2 people after me, decided to leave because of how long he was taking. My advice is find another doctor! There is a happy medium between listening to patients and being a good doctor.

If you plan to see this doctor be ready for atleast a two hour wait after your appointment time. After speaking with my insurance company about going through the proper procedure to obtain a mobility scooter it was related to me that I would need my primary care doctor (George Leon) to obtain the proper paper work from the insurance company and complete the form and return it. Dr. George refused because he didn't want to do the paper work, in his own words I will quote "I went to school to be a doctor not to fill out mobility scooter, paperwork go find a another doctor".

Over 20 yr ago, Dr George diagnosed me with Lyme's, after over a year of craziness...I really need and wish he was closer for me to see him now. He is a lifesaver and gem that people travel far to see him.

I have seen many doctors before, but none like Dr. George Leon. He is extremely knowledgeable, empathic; sincere, down to earth and a very kind person. He really cares about your well-being! These are traits that are hard to find in a physician. I am so lucky to have him as my primary care physician. I guess I can say I hit the jackpot with him.

Dr. George is the most proficient and caring physician in Maryland! He continually keeps abreast of the latest medical technologies and developments and is highly knowledgeable in many disciplines. Despite Dr. George Leon's skills and expertise, he is so down-to-earth and genuinely cares about his patients. Nurse Betty is awesome as well!

While Dr. Leon and his staff/nurse were very helpful, getting an appointment with this doctor is very difficult, along with getting to actually see him. Your wait time is horrendous -- you will spend all day in the office and you won't get lunch unless you pack a picnic basket. He does spend time with you and is thorough -- but the wait is practically intollerable. Perhaps he shouldn't schedule so many patients for the same appointment slot. Your appointments with him are all-day affairs.

I went my entire life in pain, dizzy, passing out, losing eyesight, so many devastating symptoms, seeing ALL kinds of specialists in & outside US. Dr. George Leon FINALLY nailed it! While most doctors cannot deal w/complicated cases like mine many of them made fun of me, others treating me like I was crazy, Dr. Leon took the time to READ my chart and do an in depth educated diagnosis. I have three rare associated genetic conditions loaded with symptoms that were NEVER "just in my head" and with which I was born and even almost lost my life undergoing procedures that should have been avoided. Those of you with complicated cases know how devastating it is to be sick and teased or ignored! I've left doctors' offices in tears repeatedly. I am SO grateful to such a WONDERFUL professional! He does not even know how much he changed my life, even if there is no cure for me! He is one of the few doctors that HELP; not just in it for the cash. Gigi Leon is the most awesome PA too! I love them!

The absolute best doctor. You don't need to see a specialist. Incredibly sharp and up to date on a lot of aras. He knows psychiatry, endocrinology, gynecology, pulmonology. He even knocked out some kinks in my back during the visit. When I moved, I once saw a specialist that cost $2000 for diagnosis and treatment that Dr. Leon could have done in $200. I drive an hour to see him. 10 years ago you could wait 4 hours but that is no longer an issue - he is on time now. Very personable. Betty the nurse is also fantastic.
