I'm not really from the social network generation and don't post reviews but I have to comment on how helpful and caring Dr. Cheng and her staff are. I have been seeing Dr. Cheng for many years and she never fails to give the best advice and care. Many times I have called with a problem and I get nothing but the best service. I have called late on a Friday afternoon with what I considered an emergency and she has taken the time to help me. Not many people these days care as much as she does. I would highly recommend her and the outstanding service you will get here.

Been with Dr. Cheng for 10 years and I can only say, she is the best. She goes above and beyond to help her patients. If people have trouble with dental fees talk to your MLA to get more coverage from the government. Thanks Dr Cheng for your care.

Had a terrible experience with her. I went to see her twice, and both times her staff was extremely disorganized and incompetent; during my first appointment, her staff told me that I was supposed to visit the south side location when I was actually booked in for the downtown office. The second time, I showed up for my appointment and they told me that I wasn't booked. It was only after I showed them the appointment reminder card they had given me last time I visited the office, that Karen gave in. When she finally decided to see me, she was extremely rude and judgmental, critiquing the condition of my teeth. After spending over $1,000 at this office, she was unable to solve my problem and sent me back to my dentist. This was hands down the worst experience I've ever had with a dentist or doctor.

You should very fortunate if you have been referred to Dr Cheng. She is the most caring Dentist (not just Periodontist) I have ever been to. I could only wish she specialized in other fields. She takes time to talk about tour other dental concerns other than perio. I have read other comments and yes her office is outdated but it is very clean and she does not own it. She works for another Periodontist. She is very thorough and explains everything as she goes. She talks to her assistant on a friendly basis. This makes me happy. I used to be a Dental Assistant and it would have made my day if I worked with a Dentist who talked to me in this manner. I love Peggy too. She is the most friendly Dental Receptionist I have ever seen as well. This has to be the friendliest and most Dental clinic I have been to. Do not hesitate going here. Go to Dr Cheng. She is the best. She has even offered to see me again if I need and she has even replied to my emails. I have been seeing her for approx 7 years and she treats me exceptionally well every time I go.

I had surgery for receding gums. She is informative and friendly. I didn’t have much pain and it healed quickly Excellent surgeon

I absolutely love this Periodontist. She is very caring, informative and will take the time to speak with you about concern. Reading a couple posts about the office brings up this point. Yes, the office is outdated but not dirty. She does have some conversations with her dental assistant but they are not initiated by her. This just lets me know that she treats everyone with respect when they ask questions or just want to chat about everyday stuff. She talks to patients at their dental understanding level and truly cares about the patient rather than the money. I will continue to go see her for my cleanings. Everyone should be so lucky to see her.

Do not recommend. Not a clean environment, out dated equipment, jabbed instrument into my gums roughly and quickly, sneezed on me, gave contradictory information.
